*5/13/14* - The album is out now! See my post below for the links to check it out!

Hey video game music fans! I wanted to share an exciting announcement with everybody: After years of being asked, I am finally happy to announce that I will in fact be making a Sonicesque Vol. 4!! Since the previous volumes, I have been quite busy with many different projects, but I have always wanted to make another volume, and I now have a window of time to make it happen! I can't wait to finally get back to that musical world. I am shooting for a May 13th release, so that gives me around 2 months to craft the best volume yet!

Once again, this album will set out to capture the spirit of the Genesis Sonic music, from the likes of Nakamura, Jackson, Senoue and all the others, as well as injecting my own flare to create something that is fresh and exciting. Can't wait! Stay tuned.

Project Update:
I have 6 tracks completed so far, and everything is going great! The album is already starting to take shape, and is really developing it's own sound, while still feeling like classic Sonic and Sonicesque. Stay tuned for more project updates!

Sonicesque, Vol. IV is out now! You can listen to and download the entire album at the links below. This album is a tribute to the catchy, groovy and energetic music from Sonic 1, 2, 3 & Knuckles, and 3D Blast for the Sega Genesis. With this fourth volume, everything was taken to the next level. The catalysts of inspiration are more immediately apparent; the part writing and interaction between the FM and PSG channels is more authentic and active; and the balance between old and new is more consistent and confident. Drawing from the likes of Nakamura, Jackson, Senoue and all the others, enjoy nods to specific levels such as Sonic 3's Special Stage, Sonic 2's Casino Night Zone and Metropolis Zone, Sonic & Knuckles' Doomsday Zone and more! As well as completely fresh songs which aren't inspired by any specific level, but which aim to carry the torch of that great 16-bit era music. Enjoy, and thanks for listening!

Listenng through Bandcamp Link. Loving the way that it actually sounds like music from a [possibly unknown? LOL!] Sega Genesis Sonic game! Better than the first 3, I think. Of course I loved those as well! 5 Stars AND 2 thumbs up! :D

If you do another project like this, It might be kind of awesome to attempt something along the lines of the Sonic Adventure series, but with the Genesis' limitations. I dunno. Seems like a cool idea...
