Hi folks!

I just wanted to present you my little youtube channel specifically for my own composed "save room music". If you belong to those few strange persons who liked to stay in a dark, secure, gloomy and still relaxing save room back in the days of classic Resident Evil games a little longer then necessary JUST FOR THE MUSIC AND ATMOSPHERE, you should consider checking this out:

Left Behind In Grey - Alternate Resident Evil Save Room Music - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNWzVhksFOs&list=UU7syOdAdBpyPn3ZZ_ozJo3g)

Would be glad to hear from you, be it here or on YT.

Cheers!

PS: And yes, I know, this is just a freaky and nerdy as it can get. Shouldn't bother anymore browsing through this delicate forum, though ^^

Well, actually I didn't consider to offer a download option yet, but rather keeping it on youtube. If there is a demand though, why not? You are the first one asking this, all others seem to just use tools for ripping the songs from youtube. I'm not a quality nerd, so they should still sound the same.

Youtube always takes off some of the quality, even at the best settings, but whatever quality you're comfortable with releasing I'll be more than happy to take

It's hard to pick up on any sort of solid melody but I'm liking the production quality of the piece. There is some odd clipping in the piece, not sure what's causing that. Lots of very familiar and pleasant nods to music from the original trilogy! This would certainly work well into a Resident Evil game.

Thanks for your note. About the clipping, not sure what you mean. There is very slight percussion with echo at one part, but I doubt that's what you heard. Besides I can't hear any clipping. Where exactly? (minutes, seconds) Btw, there are more than 20 other songs on my channel now, feel free to check them out!

It could be from a live performance with key shifting or the echo you're talking about. Seems to be the piano. I'll take a look and give you some time indexes. I'll edit this post in a bit when I get home

Edit:
Okay, I had a look and it seems most evident when the theme restarts and such. It actually sounds more like a static noise when I listen to it. Maybe you got the mix up too high and it's causing that. I'm not sure if you hear what I'm talking about. In the video around 1:11-1:13 as an example.

Anyway, I don't mean to knock the piece. You know it even reminds me of X-Files in some parts and I'm sure it could even work in an episode for that show.

The number of songs has increased to over 60 by now and people say that besides RE it reminds them of X-Files and Twin Peaks. Funny thing is, I watched neither of the two.
