Does anyone still even play this? I don't know anyone who does, and that sucks, because it's such an awesome game once you get past the learning curve.

If anyone wants to discuss, I'll love you forever.

Haha, Second Opinion is one of my favorite games. I enjoyed New Blood too, but didn't like the new infections (and the music!) as much as the original (considering Second Opinion was a remake of the first Trauma Center for DS). I recently played Trauma Team and was pleasantly surprised by it! I think I enjoyed the detective levels there the most, although I recall the first response operations being satisfyingly intense!

I still have yet to beat the second Trauma Center for the DS--I'm definitely more used to the Wii's motion controls!

TCSO is fantastic. It improved so much on the original. Still stuck on X5 - forget XS'ing those.

TCNB is good as well. <3 the overpowered co-op system. And yeah, Stigma was just...eh. The final battle is excellent though. Also TCUTK2 music is the best!

Trauma Team is wonderful. Not gonna lie, sorta cheated on some of those forensic levels, but still great. Surgery is WAYYYY too easy though, but First Response, as you said, was intense. Done "Lost Girl? yet? That's the most intense operation in the entire series.

TCUTK2 - second Trauma Center for the DS - is incredible. You'll get used to a stylus - it's easier than the motion controls of the Wii for sure.

I was SUPER into Trauma Center quite some time ago... have the 2 DS games, am really bad at both and will probably never progress any further in either. I just... I've given the things I'm stuck on so many tries, enough to make my wrist/whatever hurt and just... no. I have watched playthroughs of them though, so I know what happens. so it's not that big of a deal, I guess. the stuff is just harder than it looks, at least for me!! I've watched someone do the first Savato and just like, then I try it and... I cannot do it as well as they can, though I'm doing it all exactly the same. maybe I am just somehow not fast enough or something. I forget what I'm stuck on in the second game. I actually just started playing it because I was so stuck on the first. ha...

I've played both games. While the idea was nice, the illnesses were way too unrealistic for my taste.
A similar game, LifeSign Hospital Affairs, was more to my liking as it featured normal illnesses. Not to mention the old man with the hand mirror...
