As far as I know, none of these scores are available as HDCD. Besides from what I understand, quality is not much different between CD and HDCD.

The only upgrade for "American Beauty" would the Blu-Ray score (which I have ripped but it contains much speech and sound fx). And the Blu-Ray score for "The Shawshank Redemption" is 100% unusable because speech bleeds in every channel.

But I will post another Thomas Newman HDCD score soon when I receive my order. :)

EDIT: well, my mistake! To my great surprise, "American Beauty" actually IS a HDCD! It is not specified on the cover as the other scores. I am making a rip right now! :)

EDIT2: I am making some interesting discoveries...

I can't believe what I just found...
