Straight rip of all audio from the PC game files, including all in-game music. I did not include voice over files.

Original WEM files extracted from OAF container, converted with ww2ogg and patched with revorb.

I've been going crazy trying to pull the "chinpokomon" sound when you collect one... I thought I found it in a bnk file, extracted the wem from that, but even though I'm able to convert other WEM's, for some reason I can't get this one to work.

Ah yes, another weary traveler treading the same path that I did not 24 hours past.

I managed to convert the WEM from the soundbank you mention, but unfortunately that's actually not the right file. Worry not though, an hour later I found it in the dst_checkers.111 soundbank.

To save you the hassle, here it is already converted to WAV:

The files are in OGG format simply because that's the product of the conversion process. Even though I prefer MP3s, in this case converting would just result in a loss of fidelity.

Thanks so much for this! I'm on day 2 of playing the game and wow, it has exceeded all of my expectations for it. Plus it's great to know that several memorable thematic cues are available here for the first time in any sort of isolated form from the series' final mixed soundtracks. Too bad the songs that appear at various points throughout the show's run DO mostly appear here but unfortunately sound exactly as they do in the game: like they're being played through an on-screen speaker. I love finding Chimpokomon if only for that little 2 second audio clip that plays when you claim it. Admittedly I've been singing "Got to buy 'em, got to buy 'em, Chimpokomon!" at odd intervals since playing this game.

As has already been stated in numerous reviews and a user above, the level of detail put into bringing this town to life is amazing. It was also good to know that the long-running joke of Cartman's mom being a crack whore is finally resolved for good. If you look around her room you'll find a crack/cocaine/whatever, a crack pipe, bong, vibrator and lube lined up on one of her tables. Later you fight meth heads at Kenny's house in the meth lab off to the side of their house. I think it was hinted at (or possibly even explicity stated) in the show but like the revelation about Cartman's mom, this puts a whole new perspective on Kenny's side of life. My hands down favorite little reference to the show has to be the City Wok/Mongolian stuff. The Mongolians take over Mr. Kim's City Wok and erase City completely off the menu and replace it with Mongolian in red crayon/marker. It was so funny that I had to take a screenshot on my phone to send around.

The gameplay is seamless as well. It's really like your very own interactive episode. The transition between game play and cutscenes is quite impressive. However if you own the PS3 version, it may just be me but several scenes will lag along with sound effects or music just going completely silent (a notable instance being during one of the hobo fights in the sewer). It's a small gripe for a marvelous experience.

Then there comes the controversial part of it: despite all the cool (albeit repetitive) battle sequences, once the fights are over you as a player realized that you either a.) beat up a hobo, b.) beat up a crippled kid or c.) beat up multiple kids dressed up as elves all while under the veil of these 4th graders' imaginary quest. However you don't feel guilty in your laughter. If you do then you probably shouldn't be playing this game.

Pretty much every little South Park reference that could be tossed in was tossed in. Some of the references will shock the hell out of you considering how far back in the series some of them appear but it's great to see/hear them here. Despite the 2 year delay, I'd say apart from some bugs with the game itself and the controls being occasionally buggy (very very minimal complaints, mainly has to do with the wheel thing you use to plan your next move), it was a wait well worth it. South Park fans alike will be pleased.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

To stay somewhat ontopic, here are some numbers that put the scope of the sound work in this game in perspective:

Music and Tones: 500 files with a total play time of 5 hours
Sound Effects: 2700 files with a total play time of 3 hours
English Voice Over: 8500 files with a total play time of 4.5 hours

Thanks. I did a lot of deleting to remove a lot of radio songs/short tracks and there are still 100 files left. Naming and organizing them will be a pain, especially since a lot of the tracks are repeats with slight variations.

I went through all the tracks, sifted out duplicates, named ones wherever possible for all important tracks. Most of the background building music was cut out, and all the short 5 second sound effects were cut out too. It's all still in OGG, too. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for the OP's download, I really loved this game and it's classic South Park soundtrack :)

There are a couple duplicates that I didn't manage to catch.

If by order you mean organised, no it was just so that people didn't have to go through all the music tracks to find a specific, memorable one in the original OGG format. If by order you mean it was wanted by anyone, I just did it for myself and thought I'd share it :)

I can't for the life of me find the Nazi Zombie voices or I'd upload them. I've extracted all the sounds from the sound banks and the zombie voices aren't named what you'd expect them to be named. I'll let you know if I eventually find them.

Found them! They were in a slightly different folder structure away from the rest of the game data. Here's all the Nazi Zombie sounds:
