Okay, I've downloaded this file FIVE times, once with IE, twice with Chrome, and twice with Firefox!!! Where the HELL does MEGA place the downloaded file? It's NOT in my downloads, and when I search all my drives for the file name "1987STNGEAFTAOFDMFL.rar" it shows nothing! There is no way to tell MEGA where to put the downloaded file, and every search that I've tried to file information about that, comes back with total shit! :( It's NOT in the "Users" folder, or the APPDATA file, which apparently doesn't exist in my computer, for some strange reason. Can anyone help me locate this? I've never encountered this problem, and I have downloaded with MEGA before.

Mega will download the file at the bottom of the same page you connected to Mega with.

You will see the Rar folder there, in addition it will appear in your download folder, at least it does with mine and I'm using Chrome.

...using firefox it always ends up in
C->User->Folder with the computer name->downloads

took me a while to find it too...

Sometimes you have to look on your desktop.

I found the best way is using Jdownloader...that way you can choose the location yourself...
