Ice Cube, better known as a singer/record producer (or what goes in my nightly martini) stars as Nick, a bachelor from Portland (Oregon) who is infatuated with a woman who becomes stranded in Canada over the Xmas holidays. Eager for romance, Nick agrees to drive up with her kids, unaware they thoroughly dislike him and are intent on making the journey a living hell. The Cube surprised everyone with his comic acting and composer David Newman won the BMI Film & TV Music Award for 2005.

Thanks yet again, Yepsa! I wonder why David Newman has so many unreleased score. Is it the nature of the films? I figure maybe comedies are less prone to getting better marketing and licensing promotions, so not as much peripheral material around the films. That's my best guess.
