First, let me start off by saying that I'm really not big on musicals. Rocky Horror, Sweeney Todd and Across the Universe are pretty much it for me. That being said, I'd have to say Across the Universe is one of my favorite films - and that also goes for the soundtrack. If you know the OST / film at all, you know that the songs in the film are vastly (and sometimes even radically) different from their OST counterparts. So I did the only thing I knew how to do, which was use the DVD audio and Deluxe Edition OST to make the most accurate film versions possible. Now before anyone asks, YES there is SFX. I did not have access to the raw recordings of the songs, nor did I have access to Elliot Goldenthal's amazing score. So what we have here is every single song (I think every song) in the order they appear in the film, in their film versions. I removed all the dialogue/SFX/filler that's heard in between songs, except where I needed the audio to transition from one song to the next. I included the parts of Elliot Goldenthal's score that I could, but as I said - there's SFX. But this is a musical, and don't most musical OSTs have SFX and dialogue in them to begin with? Sweeney Todd does, anyway.

There are 45 tracks, total run time is 1:39:35. Quality is MP3 320k.

*This is a special mixture of the OST version which then fades into the film version. I didn't like Jude's mom singing the line "let it out and let it in", I preferred Jude (Jim Sturgess) singing it better. So I took the OST version that has Jude and then mixed it into the film version. The 2 versions overlap where the street performer starts banging on all the drums

Enjoy everyone :)
