What I mean is what was your main party against the last boss (Safer-Sephiroth) I would like to know how you liked using those characters up to that point.

Red XIII (I always used him with the Long Range Materia and he was my main magic user)

ahhhh..... i believe it was cloud, vincent, and red XIII my first time through. on my second, it was cloud, yuffie(who is accually pretty powerful when leveled up and with the conformer), and vincent. im half way through my third time through now.:p

Great game cant get enough

I used Cloud, Red XIII, and Tifa. They all were at level 99, and once Tifa got her limit break seph didnt have a chance! Red XIII's limit break was helpful too.

Usually Cloud, Cid and Tifa (or Cloud, Cid and Yuffie)..... :)

But it doesn't matter, because the last battle is so easy, I could use everyone for it. ;)

I normally use Cloud, Tifa and ether Barret or Cid.

Sometimes I use Yuffie.

I use Cloud, Vincent, and Barret. Right now, Red XIII is taking the place of Vincent as healer and heavy magic user. Cloud is Lvl 88, Barret, 87, Vincent 84, Red XIII 74.

My Team:

Cloud
Vincent
Cid

Mainly because these three are my 3 powerhouses. Both Cid and Cloud are at LVL 99 and Vince is at LVL 95.

Cloud(Warrior)
Cait Sith (White mage)
Yuffie(Warrior/Black mage)

Very good party. My old memory card was like that until I lost it. Everyone was 99, but my party was Cloud, Vincent, and Barret. Now it's like that but the characters are in the high 80's and high 70's (with Red XIII participating in my party, too).

1st time:Cloud, Tifa, RedXIII
2nd time:Cloud, Tifa, Vincent

First time my Cloud, Tifa and RedXIII were around lvl 70

2nd time Cloud Tifa and Vincent were all lvl 99

go Tifa go lights my fire and Ultimas
Cloud he relies on brute strength
RedXIII and Vincent they just hang around abit.

That's the best party EVER.

I always used Tifa, Vincent, and Cloud. Tifa was my main magic user, and her limit break was the strongest after clouds omnislash. everyone was on level 55, it was my first time playing it too =D

I think I might use Tifa, Cloud, and Cid next time.... im not sure, ive gotten attatched to my original team.

I think I used Cloud, Yuffie and Cid first time round, the Nanaki, Cloud and Vincent the second, which didnt help cause they werent as built up as Yuffie and Cid. I think I spent so long on that game the timer stopped and the Gil meter on my menu went into strange characters :s But, I accidentally stepped on disk three, so I cant play it again until I manage to craftily steal it from my boyfriend XD

My final party always been Cloud, Yuffie and Vincent. There been times I switch around party members but that's usually my main group.

I lost my old memory card. :X So here it is


1st(Current):Cloud, RedXIII, Yuffie

2nd(Future):Cloud,(Either Barret or Vincent),(Either Tifa or Cid)

Yuffie I just use because
1. She's Hot
2. She's fun to play
3. Her Limit Breaks are great and she got decent magic capibilitys
4. Need to be prepared for that acursed Tower of Pangoda in Wutai.

A friend of mine always urges me to do "badly" against the last Jenova boss before you fight Sephiroth because then you'll be able to use more than three characters in the final battle against him. I once asked him upon what he bases this assumption, and he says he heard it from his friend. Unfortunately, his "friend" also told him that in FF8 you can find a "secret ragnarok" in the Lunatic Pandora excavation site with Laguna & Co. so I don't believe it. I was wondering though if anyone else has heard it before? It would sort of make sense to me because in the second to last battle in which you fight the fucked-up Sephiroth with all the arms n shit where you can switch between parties, one of the parties has to be of only 2 people. But whenever I fight Jenova I'm tempted to just tear her apart because she's so frigg'n easy, so I've never put the theory to test.

it's usually Cloud, Tifa, and Barret, all with mastered materia and level 4 limits and ultimate weapons and all that stuff.

The characters i'd used to kick butt is cid,cloud,finally seppiroth or vincent all has mime material Quadra magic finally Knights of the round 9999 damage each one!!!

And vincent with 2xcut and he was my summoner both about lvl 93

thats the team i would recommend to newbies as they are easy to get the last limits for

Why would you use "All Creation"??? "Doom of the Living" is a MUCH better limit!!

What does it matter anyways?
