This is an OST and sounds amazing for a 1947 recording. By listening, it appears "stem" microphone placement was utilised by 20th Century Fox(a great idea of Alfred Newman's)for a "fat mono" composite,and modern remastering has this little treasure released in stereo.

No scans are included, and the above opinion is just a guess on my part. A must have IMHO. Thanks to Tapoktro's site,I now have this gem in my Herrmann original soundtrack collection.
