I decided to just get on with the game and complete it for my first time (since started it 10 years ago). (no need for celestial weapons, or magnus sisters, or dark aeons, etc).

Wow, the ending is really long, no save points, and it feels like a marathon / gauntlet of bosses.

What I don't get is:

They all jump inside Sin, go through Sin's invisible tunnel organs and arrive in a city? What is this city?

Jecht appears in human form just to show a friendly face. Then he turns into Braska's Final Aeon. Did Braska have many Aeons? Where/who is Braska? I thought Jecht was Sin but Sin seems just a container and Jecht is really the Aeon?

What are those Yu Pagodas doing? Why do they keep charging and giving health?

Jecht eventually pulls a massive sword from his chest. Then when he dies, everyone is on the massive sword? Funny scenario?

At end when everybody magically appears back on the ship like if they never jumped off (maybe they hallucinated the whole thing!?)... we see some mountain, and lots of people's exposed "backs/bodies" stuck in a stone wall... turning grey... (just before the bubbles float up). What is this scene all about??

Why did Yuna have to destroy all the Aeons?

I watched the credits right to the end title "The End"... but Zanarland song plays repeatly. Is there anything after this? Like our stats/results screen?

All the areas inside Sin were put there just to make that part of the game more memorable than just going through intestines and other organs I would think. Tidus and friends set out to destroy at the core so he doesn't revive so they had to go inside Sin to do that.

Braska is Yuna's father who defeated Sin some years before Yuna started her pilgrimage. Presumably he got all the aeons that Yuna did from the various temples, but the Final Aeon is the Guardian that gets chosen to become the only aeon with the power to defeat Sin. As you said, Sin is controlled by Jecht who is infected by Yu Yevon, who you have to defeat after you defeat Jecht.

The Yu Pagodas are just there to annoy the player. And the fight on the giant sword ... they just thought it would look cool/relate back to the fight with Jecht for no apparent reason. I don't remember it being as corny as I'm making it sound right now.

About everyone getting back on the ship after beating Sin, I think it might've been the Fayth that get everyone out of there, but I don't think it's explained.

That's all I can think of now. I'll get back to you if I can think of anything else.

I just finished a second play-through on the HD remaster version and just saw this thread, I realize it's a little old :) For some reason I loved this game much more the second time around.

I think the city is just a stylization like Shinsho said - it's called the City of Dying Dreams, so presumably it's a reference to scenes earlier in the game about the Fayth getting tired of dreaming for so long.

Jecht appears in human form just to show a friendly face. Then he turns into Braska's Final Aeon. Did Braska have many Aeons? Where/who is Braska? I thought Jecht was Sin but Sin seems just a container and Jecht is really the Aeon?

The fight with Yunalesca sort of explained this. Jecht was Braska's guardian. Someone close to the summoner is supposed to become the Final Aeon, which is why the party shook up the whole system when they decided to fight Yunalesca, rather than let her turn one of the guardians into the Final Aeon. Braska is no longer around because calling the Final Aeon kills the summoner. The big whale-like Sin you see is really just Yu Yevon's armor (it is a container like you said). The Final Aeon was the only thing strong enough to pierce the armor and make Yu Yevon vulnerable (until you come along and break the cycle). Yu Yevon possesses the Final Aeon (Jecht) and feeds off its power to re-build Sin (the armor) around itself. That "rebuilding time" is the 10 year "calm" period. After killing Braska's Final Aeon (Jecht), Yu Yevon is just a spirit and needs a new host, so it possesses each one of Yuna's aeons (which is the answer to your other question about why they have to kill them all). With no more aeons to possess, it's easy for the party to just finish off Yu Yevon itself. Since Yu Yevon was the one summoning Sin, his death makes it disappear.

What are those Yu Pagodas doing? Why do they keep charging and giving health?
These aren't explained in the story, they're just part of the fight.

Jecht eventually pulls a massive sword from his chest. Then when he dies, everyone is on the massive sword? Funny scenario?
Massive swords are always just for dramatic effect ;)

At end when everybody magically appears back on the ship like if they never jumped off (maybe they hallucinated the whole thing!?)... we see some mountain, and lots of people's exposed "backs/bodies" stuck in a stone wall... turning grey... (just before the bubbles float up). What is this scene all about??

Sin disappeared around them so they fell out of it. Cid came to their rescue by catching them with the airship. Those bodies stuck in the wall were the Fayth. This was shown earlier in the game. After Yu Yevon is defeated, the Fayth all over Spira start disappearing (that's why they turn grey). This is why Tidus disappears too, because the Fayth are no longer there to summon him there from past Zanarkand.

Why did Yuna have to destroy all the Aeons?
See above ^

Did you see the part where Tidus is swimming in the ocean after the credits? That's the part they threw in to leave open to interpretation. He could have gone back to "past" Zanarkand, or he could be in the Farplane, or something else...

Thanks Cellfish & ShinshoGurren for your cool explanations :DD
