Macht

I can hear the cannons calling...
I can hear the thunder roar..
I can see the people falling..
I can see the eagles soar...

The time had passed, so fleeting;
In a blink of an eye, so seem'd.
To lose such time, I was weakening.
My fate, my doom, was deemed.

But now the wrongs have been righted.
Now, my way shines so clear.
Now is the time to press forward,
To achive victory over the fear.

Though faith and soul strengthen me,
It is perseverance that will prevail.
What the people and the enemy see
Will be our armies on wing and sail.

This world has fallen.
This world must be taught.
The trumpets sound the calling.
Now the battle must be faught.

To achieve victory, one must look
To the heavens, the skys above
And find that which apathy took -
Fire, on the wings of a dove.

Now, come forward not back -
I shall lead our people

'Macht' just sounds sexier than 'Power'.
