Hello there, guys

I am a fan of Tactical RPGs, and I love FF Tactics (I've finished the original, advanced and A2 multiple times each). Although A and A2 story isn't good, the original has a very nice and deep plot.

I've heard, of course, a lot about Final Fantasy. Many people love the series, and I'd like to know this story so many people adore. However, I can't bear the main series' gameplay. The battle system bores me to death, and having random battles by walking around just makes it worse. I've started to play many FF games, such as FFI to IV, FFVII, FFX, FFXII and I could never play them without hating the battles and ragequitting.

So, would you of the shrine know any way I could know the full story of the games without actually playing them? Any link to a nice and long summary or something else?

TL;DR: I want to know FF story, but don't wanna play the games.

By the way, english is not my first language, so pardon any mistakes.

Welcome!

The FF Wiki ( Final Fantasy Wiki - Welcome to the Final Fantasy Wiki! (http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Final_Fantasy_Wiki) ) has summaries of the main series story-lines so that's worth a look at. Recently people have also been uploading 'story playthroughs' of FF games on websites such as Youtube which feature story cutscenes so that's also another option. But I think the FF Wiki would be your best bet. :)

There are Let's Plays on youtube for all of the games. There's also 'movie' versions, which sound like exactly what you're looking for. This guy (link) (http://www.youtube.com/user/dansg08) has movie versions of X, X-2, XII, XIII, XIII-2 and VII.

Nice suggestions. Thanks a lot, both of you. :)
