It was a goading comment to be sure. But on the other hand, just because some paid, does that mean it should not BE shared should someone wants to? I understand the bitterness, I am just not sure it is...appropriate? We all get this for free, because someone decided to post it. (Well, not me because I could care less for it...). Are we supposed to feel bad that others paid for it? I am just not sure what it is you are upset by? Although there is obviously some bad juju going on.

I guess I mean I personally do not look for it to happen. And for me personally, there are many other Horner scores that are worthy of getting better treatment. Better scores. Titanic would be nice, but I just dismiss those chances outright, personally. NOTHING against you guys still working for it though. More power to you. :)

It's not really needed now, we have a kind of complete score with recreated cues that sound great and im sure next year or this year..... we will be able to put up a good complete/bootleg score

I have only listened to a few tracks, but as far as I know Dragon Flight is different and Battlefield has some added choir!

Like I said, I never heen had this, but I just wrote this because I know for a fact the person who first had it worked really hard to get it and wanted to keep it private, that's why I kinda felt sorry for him as I know he doesn't like this being posted. But it never served another purpose as far as I know, it was never meant to get things, I just felt a bit sad for the person who spend some amount of time tracking it down, that's all... No offence meant! I just imagine that it must feel bad to have paid (probably an expensive amount) and then see this posted...

Houston, we have a smart person here. Maybe that's where Mr. Charles got this from. I bet no one considered that. But it doesn't matter anyways.

Also, it's not rare. The part we're it says that Voldemort's Influence was included in the FYC promo was a lie. It's just Panic Inside Hogwarts. The choir has the same mix as the CD, and other than Hedwig's Theme being cut of the score, there's no difference with the CD.

It sounds better without Hedwig's theme imo.

Really? Wow. I was not sure I agreed with myself..:) Not an opinion so much as curiosity about the situation. But anyhoo...

It makes sense I guess, Amanda, but technically it says they are never to be distributed to third parties..it says so on the CDs, the covers as well. But, it's out there now, so.

It says on cd's that you cannot just freely share too. We still do. Hell, when you record a football game on the dvr, it says you are not allowed to play it except for private in home use. Movies too. In theory you cannot host a party at a clubhouse, and play a dvd on the screen as that violates copyright. I think on the fyc, it says not to distribute because they are promos intended for the industry. Just like the Oscar screeners for movies are. Therefore, like with most true promos, they are not intended to get into public domain. THAT is why this is a PIRATING site....:) (well, errr....the download sub-forum of a much larger site is, anyway...)

Battlefield is labeled as Neville & Battlefield in the sheets. The cue is two cues mixed into one. The second one is Harry & Ginny Kiss/Malfoy Chase.

Hmm, is that really it? I kinda sounds like it, but it kinda doesn't. Every FYC I have only has material from the composer. For example:

Inception: "A Half Remembered Dream" and "We Built Our Own World" have been omitted because they contain portions of "Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien", written by Charles Dumont & Michael Vaucaire & performed by Edith Piaf. The same thing has been done with "Waiting for A Train", no Edith Piaf.

The Da Vinci Code: all it is is a suite written by Zimmer, nothing else

The Passion of The Christ: "Song of Complaint" has been removed, because it was not written by Debney. It's ancient

It's Hedwig's theme. But it's a slow Zimmer-esque version played with brass, with taiko/bass drums hits and string ostinatos. Desplat had an alternate version of Opening playing Hedwig's theme after Lily's theme.

Yeah seems kind of weird that all the films opened with Hedwig's theme except HP8. But I fuly agree with MGM, Showdown contains Hedwig's theme FOR SURE on fhte FYC. Maybe they hoped no one would notice. And, just my point of view, of course, but if Desplat integrates Hedwig's Theme into his work, doesn't that make it his work? I mean, if you really put that exclusion theory into practice, you couldn't have The Will on the HP7 FYC because at one moment you hear a theme Hans Zimmer uses in The Da Vinci Code!
