Hello all,

This is not my rip. I just compiled what others have data mined out of the game files, retagged and put in somewhat of a logical order. The set of 2.1 tracks I have in here were converted to 128kbps before I found them, so I can't do anything about that. I did not leave any of the reused tracks from the 1.0 OST in the rip, to help the filesize (Would be over 1gb if I didn't!) There are 14 tracks and the end of the rip that I just can't remember where they played. If anyone can help me with those that would be awesome! Anyways, enjoy!

Thank you so much for this! I have been looking everywhere for the music of the crystal tower battle music since the release of 2.1! In the last 14 tracks I recognize a few tracks from Main Storyline events. Not sure where though :/. Also, a few pieces are missing I think; like Cid's Theme and the primal fights? Or am I mistaking?

Those songs are on the Before Meteor OST, so they were removed from this rip to save on space. I still missed deleting a few thanks to mp3tag issues, being tired, and just being an idiot haha. It is not worth a reupload just to remove a few songs. I ALSO cant remember those last few at the end. I had some help with finding Before Meteor tracks in the request thread for this but I trashed the filenames before I got to some of them, and I haven't had the time to listen to the Before Meteor OST to cross reference. I also lost the title prelude arrange and the few victory jingles SOMEHOW. I think that was from that mp3tag issue. Hopefully even with these issues I can still say that this is probably the most organized and comprehensive gamerip for this game so far. That was my goal anyway.

You'll have to hunt down the Before Meteor OST for that one, since it was in the first game too. I'm sure there is still an active link on the forums here somewhere! You are looking for the track called "Fallen Angel"

Hello, I thought I'd upload those victory jingles you'd lost (minus The Hero of Hatchingtide, since you aren't using 1.0 tracks) as well as all the Prelude arrangements (I'm not sure which of them is currently in the rip, but now you've got them all) and the "Dangerous Area" mini-tracks. If you want to, you can update your rip accordingly.

The official soundtrack was just released yesterday, and a new patch came out today.

You'd probably be better off waiting for the official soundtrack rip and a new gamerip with just the missing/new tracks.

It's strange, it came out yesterday and some people even got their copies a day early but I still haven't been able to find a proper soundtrack rip.
