Thanks for this one as well, Bond. One of those overlooked Vietnam war flicks. If I remember right there wasn't much of a score from Philip Glass.

Overlooked? I watch this at least 1 or 2 times a year. Too bad there's never been an official score release. Thank you for this

@ alfrodo Yeah, overlooked. I happen to catch it in theaters, but don't know anyone else who's seen it. I'm sure most people here haven't seen the film, much less even heard of it.

Yea, that is to bad. This is a solid war movie, and a solid Vietnam war movie. I actually had the honor of meeting a veteran who fought in the battle for hill 937. Very fascinating conversation.

Agreed. It's a pretty good film. And yeah, I'll wager "fascinating conversation" is an understatement.

Thanks for this fantastic gem :) I never thought this existed.......When I first saw the movie I was immediateley fascinated by Philip Glass magnificent score :) There is not much original score in this movie but its a very good use of film music.........besides Hamburger Hill is one of the best and interesting movies about the Vietnam War and its madness......

T_T kinda missing the score towards the end where the general theme takes an upbeat variation (not sure how to say it). It's heard towards the end where they're pressing up on the hill - the "mudslide" scene, if I remember correcetly.

Thanks for re-up too!

But I have question. Is it me or is that "faster version" of the HH theme missing? It is played in the climax scenes as they charge up getting Hamburger Hill (and getting slaughtered in the process). That music and moment is so epic.
