As my Internet connection lives and beeps, it's "Final Fantasy VII Remastered!"

Don't expect too much from this one, think of it as an alternate version of the original. For the most part, tracks sound smoother, in some parts a little weak. The final battle theme has no vocals, but I actually kinda like it.

So, this is the whole FF VII album redone. It was made with the same MIDIs I used for the SEGA Genesis stuff.

No need to say thanks, just take what you need and be on your way. And if you guys don't like it, that really sucks. I feel bad for you and your bad taste in being a person. But if you DO happen to like it, look forward to VIII and IX being done the same way and the VII, VIII, IX (already done), X Super Nintendo collection!

NOTE: To whom it may concern, Final Fantasy VII was originally a game for the PlayStation home console, not the AnotherXG soundfont. The above description is a work of nonfiction designed as a subtle truth, the likes of which some may find more confusing than anything else...wait, why is there a disclaimer here?

Ashadelo:

That's just how the MIDIs are, unfortunately.

Where exactly are you getting these MIDIs from?

Just a warning. If they're not official MIDIs, and they're from VGMusic.com, there's a good chance some of them are bad, because there are MIDIs on that site by people with the worst case of tone deafness ever, and make completely out of tune MIDIs.

Honestly, I can't remember. I just got a zip that contained the whole FF VII album in MIDI form. If it's any consolation, I don't think this album turned out half bad.

Well, I have no interest in the MIDIs but wouldn't it be better/easier to rip it from the PC version? That was the major flaw of that release. Anyone know if it's still the same on the Re-release(?) on Steam?

Or maybe I'm just replying half-blindly before having my morning coffee.

Well this isn't exactly a MIDI album. I took the MIDI files and applied the 'AnotherXG' soundfont to them to make this album. I hope that clears things up a bit.

As for the Steam thing, I'd assume it has the exact same soundtrack as the original, but perhaps a Google search could help clarify.

I actually have the actual PC MIDIs. They have filenames like:
aseri.mid
aseri2.mid
ayasi.mid
barret.mid
lb2.mid
earis.mid

etc.
