This set does not include the season 1. I am adding that to my personal set. Well added. This was because 1 & 7 were recently posted, I am told, so I saw no reason to make folks redownload music that was already available.

Btw, 128 kbit/s, because the source was 128 kbit/s, right? If that should not be the case, could at least upload a 192 kbit/s version, please?

The site only providd 128. It's hit or miss with samples.Most end up at only 128, although some will be 192, 256 or even 320, though that is rare. Presumably if one were a member with dl privileges, they could be downloaded directly in better quality. But they seem very picky about that. These are flash streaming, so could be considered previews, in a way.

Besides, if that had not been the case I would not re-up anyway. I edited each in audacity to more or less level sound and trim the beginning/end silences. To do it better, I'd have to redownload and edit each track. This set took nearly 3 weeks to download , organize, edit and present. I ain't doing that again :)

But that's beside the point. This is the rate given and I pretty much keep to that.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm... 161 tracks, 3.7hrs of unique music, and yet I STILL can't find the track that accompanies the scene in Season 4 Episode 1, where Trinity kills his victim in the bathtub.

It was truly a wonderful piece of eerie scoring, and I have grabbed every single Dexter soundtrack release (both official and unofficial) in the hopes of hearing this track separate to the show. Alas, I guess it is not to be!

Are there are hardcore Dexter score fans that might know what I am talking about and where I might be able to acquire it?

I know the scene, just watched it, but I know of no place else to look. Combining all sources we have 9 hours of score. However Dex is nearly a full hour show with no commercials. 12 Episodes a season for 8 years. There is a TON of missing music....

What I want, and dunno if it is to be had, is the too tired and messed up version of the theme. In season 4, with the baby? He wakes up and they do a riff on the title sequence, only he misses the mosquito, and doesn't shave, and his t-shirt has baby stains on it and he can't find the car keys. (He left them in the freezer...).

I agree. I did like the last season as a whole, but I just didn't like that Debra died. I wasn't expecting a happy ending, but there was just something missing from how it all ended. The show somehow forgot to be "Dexter" the way how they normally end things in a very clever way. Hard to articulate, but it felt a bit empty in the end. All the things Dexter learned and the people that changed him over the course of the series....in the end it didn't mean a thing, because he was gonna end up like a hairy recluse anyway.....just my two cents regarding the ending.

Sure, but I had more issues with

Sure, we've seen our share of superman-esque abilities and cloaking skills throughout the season but that he could just enter the hospital IN his kill suit and just carry her out of the hospital to his boat is a bit extreme. Also there were effects added and used in ways that we've never seen in a Dexter episode before it felt forced and unnecessary.

Many great memories overall of the series though and I never get tired of it. I've seen the first 5 seasons, three times.
