I love the first one, the second was ok, but after that it all went downhill fast - especially after Mahoney (Steve Guttenberg) left.

The first film is a really good comedy ...it still holds up pretty good today. But it should have ended with one or two movies (though I would agree with the 10th and consider the second one as okay - even though I haven't seen that one in ages) - the "aftermath" (parts 3 onwards) are the reason people think of this film with so little respect.
