This game rip should be nearly complete. A few tracks can't be recorded without sound effects, most of these are included regardless, with sound effects.

Sorry to say this, but I'm a representative of the company who currently holds copyrights to this soundtrack. As such, I'll be "confiscating" this compilation to my own little horde.

i got a tip if you have sound effects in your sound tracks...
but if theres soundtracks like when entering a dark world or getting the master sword could be hard but for entering dark world is fine for some reason...

tip :

go to a safe place with no monsters and record the soundtrack,
if theres monsters kill them all.

Actually I recorded most of it when the game was paused (item menu), because that mutes all sound effects. That doesn't work in cutscenes or at the very start of some tracks, though, so that's why some tracks still have sound effects. It can't be helped until Nintendo decides to release a soundtrack.

I just downloaded it, as I just finished it (first time around). ^.^ It was pleasantly surprising to see you were behind this rip, as I've been listening to ALBW music that you posted on YouTube as I've progressed through the game. I didn't want to download a rip and see spoilers in song titles, so I've just listened to specific songs on YT up to this point. Now that I've finished it, I can enjoy this amazing music to the fullest, thanks to you! :)

I know, this is one of the tracks I'm missing, but I can't record this without sound effects (and it's not just footsteps, but also weapon sounds and Link's screams, unfortunately) because the game can't be paused in StreetPass Battle Mode. I found it highly unpleasant to listen to a recording of this great music with these annoying sounds. However, I do have a recording of it, the StreetPass loss jingle and the Octoball minigame - since I've been asked a few times now, I might publish them, but I can only do so tomorrow.

I'm trying to work with this rip and remove SFX as best I can they are turning out pretty good IMO, but you guys can be the judges when I'm finished with it. Hopefully you guys will be pleased with the results. Some I didn't do because it effected the music too much. I'll post a mediafire link when I'm done so keep checking back... I should be finished with it in a few hours :D btw if the author has ones that they omitted because of SFX send me those either through a pm or here so I can see if I can do something with them.

This is complete and utter rubbish. I'd like to know what was going through your head when you decided not to release an official soundtrack to this game Nintendo. Not even on Club Nintendo Japan?

Forcing people to have to try and do extra work to get as little SFX in their rips as possible? You should release OSTs for many 3DS games as well. Mario Tennis Open, Mario Kart 7... etc. Also Mario Kart 8 should, assuming it has good music.

I enhanced all of the tracks audio made them sound better

trust me you guys will like this i just lumped it all in because I figured it'd be easier having all of it in one file

The enhancement sounds good - the music volume has increased and the sound is richer, but I noticed the high reverb in some tracks, most brassy ones like "Hyrule Castle #1" or "Witch's Hut", are a bit too much, at least in my opinion, they sound a little distorted. But all in all, pretty good job!!! ;)

It's that echoing three-note chime that plays whenever Hilda contacts you (i.e. when you warp to a new area in Lorule, or right outside Lorule Castle at the end of the game.) I just think it'd make a great text notification. If not, that's okay - I'm sure I can just record it with my phone from the 3DS speaker, but I'm sure it'd sound nicer being directly captured. Either way, thanks.

Or until the 3DS gets hacked and the sound files get ripped from the source, I doubt the latter will happen anytime soon so I'll just take this rip....

I've tagged them all and I pretty much ahve all but three tracks, with holes ready for them to be inserted. Projected total tracks: 110

I've taken Helsonium's rip and improved them with my years of Zelda research, and am even working on translating some of the names into romaji in prep for the Japanese release (I have knowledge of the Japanese games so I am using what I know here). With Helsonium's permission I will even put the in a more comprehensible order, and tag them properly (for example, the StreetPass theme was originally composed by Akito Nakatsuka, NOT Koji Kondo).

Do whatever you need to do - basically that's why I released this "raw" rip in the first place - but I still believe (and hope) an official soundtrack will be released eventually anyway. When you change the order, don't forget to leave space for the tracks that are still missing.

They work fine for me... MEGA has issues with older browsers, so you could try using a current version of Firefox or Chrome, if you aren't already.

what tracks could possibly be missing thoughAside from what's mentioned, I can only think of the theme when you enter a new area of Lorule and Hilda speaks to you. It is the same theme when Sahasrahla speaks to you telepathically after getting all three pendants.

I am sorry to announce that I have complied with the copyright holder's takedown request and will not reupload or continue seeding the torrent.
My upload was only meant as a temporary source anyway, until either an official soundtrack was announced or the decryption of 3DS roms became possible. With the latter now a possibility, releases of superior quality should follow soon - if they haven't already (I haven't been following the events lately).
