OK, here's a little something I've been working on for a while.

The original oggs came from Pietastesgood's Jade Empire rip (Thread 60802) (#85 on the list).

Aside from converting them to mp3 and jacking up the volume a bit, I was able to identify and tag as much of them as I could. I present the results to you.

This is an Expanded soundtrack, not a Complete one. It's meant to be a complimentary piece to Jack Wall's Jade Empire Original Soundtrack. I might mash them together at some point to create the definitive Perfect Works soundtrack or some shit, but for now, here it is.

My main problem with the OST was the fact that that a lot of the tracks were medleys of 2-3 tracks mashed together. As a result, the only track that had a proper intro was the first one,and the only track with a proper ending was the last one. So, the bulk of this rip are standalone versions of these tracks, with the proper intros/outros.

Some tracks on the OST, though listed as one single track, had clearly defined sections that were distinct enough to stand alone on their own separate tracks, so I included them as well. Those would be the tracks tagged with [Part 1], [Part 2], etc.

When a combat sequence is over, the game plays a short little "Victory!" riff that's unique for each of the battle tracks. I included those as well. Those are the tracks tagged with [Alt. End]. The reason I consider it alternate is because the OST versions of these battle tracks end differently. There was a lot of guesswork involved here, but after spending hours upon hours listening to all of this shit, I feel pretty confident I got them right. The mental notes/comments I took as I was going through them are included in the notes.txt file. So if you think I fucked up with the tagging somewhere and associated an [Alt. End] track with the wrong piece of music, by all means let me know.

There were three unknown tracks (47, 48, 49). I am fairly confident the first one of these is the one that plays during the Spirit World sequence in the last act of the game, but I'm not sure about the other two. If anyone can identify them, please let me know.

Damn, too bad that I missed this; I only played the game for the first time a few months ago. If anyone still has a link for this I would appreciate it very much.

I installed the game and got the soundtrack myself, added album art and some info - here:

No names or any special order of files, though... :/
