One of the several hundred things I cherish about Varese Sarabande is not just the quality of its recordings -- the Royal Scottish National Orchestra keeps growing musically and artistically with each music director. I do have and cherish this. All the music I knew through many, many versions: this is a valuable and endearing favorite.
