Some of you out there might remember my 2009 expansion. One of you noticed a couple of tracks were not edited into its chronological place and asked if I could find a way of updating with tracks only heard on film but fellow fan editor GoodMusician, isolating these tracks proved fruitless until it becomes available in 5.1 on Blu Ray. There is another album in the public domain that carry these tracks BUT they are direct DVD extractions with dialogue and SFX intact.
The following is a refreshed edit of my past album with those new edits including a brand new track, the deleted / extended american TV footage of the Helicopter Attack scene has been isolated in full specially for this update.

01 Finding the Orca (Main Title)
02 The Catamaran Race I

Needless to say it's been over 30 years and barely anything good has been released to add onto missing work.

Since blonde180246 and I go back a couple years still in search of the same thing, we both have made edits and modifications to what John Williams DID provide. Here is what I have, and can honestly say I am not proud of it, still... unless someone comes fourth with a successful rip of different channels of it, not just Stereo or Audio this is the best we've got. Here's to you partner.

Anyway enjoy if you can, it's everything I managed to get from the movie and more. Still it has speaking and sfx in the background I hope that's okay.

Yeah, there were two tracks I missed: 'No Idea' was the second half of the 'Toward Cable Junction' track and 'The Catamaran Race' in the movie is in 2 pieces.
I remember deleted footage from the Helicopter Attack scene, I felt that there was enough material on the original album to reconstruct the music from the footage and seamlessly edit in to the existing track for a cool little addition. I'm always looking to improve by creating new tracks and plus I found the official album with slighty better quality this time round

All I know is that I personally spent like +5 hours making sure I had every last bit of music all correctly organized even though it's in crappy quality for the stuff that I had to get from the movie.

I'm not trying to outshine my buddy's work I'm just sharing mine as well since we both have different versions.

Jaws 2 is my favorite Jaws's score ! Thanks a lot for this edition blonde180246 :) And thanks for your edition JackSparrow

Few years ago, I created my own complete score (SFX & dialogues) from my DVD too ;) The quality is poor, but here a link to :

- Finding The Orca (film version)
- Ballet For Divers (film version)

Many thanks for these uploads- Jaws 2 is, in my humbly controversial opinion, a better score than Jaws- I had always thought that John Williams best work was in the late 70's and early 80's, with 1977-1978 being a rather good vintage. A re release of this score, expanded and cleaned up is well well overdue
