this is.. one of easiest RPG i've ever played -_-;; unbalanced in my opinion. once yuna gets holy spell and her celestial weapon nirvana.. she can kill all alone. i just wanted to see the ending so i only got celestial weapon for yuna and got 3 optional aeons then leveled in omega ruins for a bit. well anima and magus sisters these aeons are so overpowered. killed everything in 1 normal hit. ultima weapon died by anima's normal attack, omega weapon died by magus sister's normal attack. all did 99999 overkill. and inside of sin, when i fought seymour for the final time, he also died by anima's normal attack which did 99999 overkill. same for the jecht. -_-;; ending was ok. although it wasn't exactly a happy ending. overall FF10 is a great game but too easy i think. i never seen ultima weapon, omega weapon, seymour 4th form, jecht's attacks. all died in 1st turn.

ah story of FFX was good :) it was fun.

Have you got the International Version, or the European version?

Go after the Dark Aeons, if so. You'll see a proper challenge then. Plus there's enough in the Monster Arena to keep you on your toes if you really want a challenge. :)

Yep, I agree. To beat the Black Aeons and all the monsters at the monster arena can be a big challange. I have just beaten them by myself last night. The first time ever, because some of them are rough. ;)

Of course, if you only run through the game without these extras, it shouldn't be that hard, that's right.

Congrats for beating FFX ( I have yet to do it since Im out getting my crests, sigils, and weapons )

I would tell you that maybe you shouldnt have killed Ultima weapon. If you steal from him you can get useful items for Rikku's mix ( and to teach aeons new abilities ) and you could Have bribed him ( if you have like a little over a million gil to spare ).

BTW I know this is off topic but does anyone know where Tidus' ultimate weapon is? I beat the chocobo trainer and I still cant find it!

hmm what does bribe do exactly?? monster just lets u win? i had more than 10 mil but i never tried bribe.

to get tidus' celestial weapon you gotta go talk to the guy guarding a road that leads down to cliff. after you win the chocobo race he will leave his guarding post so you can enter after.

side quests in FFX was some what pain in the ass ;[ i got lazy so all i did was get celestial weapon for yuna and rikku(but never used rikku so never seen her weapon), got every jecht spheres, killed optional bosses, got 3 optional aeons.. that's all i guess.

Thats the thing I cant find the place where he was guarding :p

~Well you bribe monsters to leave you alone ( I believe Rikku starts off with the only one who can do this until you choose someone else to become a thief as well ) and in return they leave with an item. In the monster arena you can get rare items this way ( but you cant bribe original creations and the such ).

Its a lot easier to get rare items than by trying to be lucky at stealing (though the luck ability raises the chances of stealing something rare but not often)

--I agree with you there, the side quests are annoying as hell but it just makes my characters stronger. Ive gain so many sphere levels that I now have tidus becoming a thief, lulu a white mage, yuna a black mage, and auron and wakka are exchanging places. Kimihari is almost finished becoming an auron clone and willl move on to tidus.

that guard is at the north west cliff. u won't see him when u r riding a chocobo so u will have to see carefully the edge of cliff. u will see a road to down eventully.

You should still try completing the moster arena, that will keep you going for a whlie.

If you manage to get through the tediousity of capturing every single monster 10 times then Nemesis should give you a big challenge if you don't know the right strategy.

FFX is easy, but has long and quite tough sidequests.

Oh, I agree with you... suddenly you get all of this strength, Tidus and Auron can hit like 50,000 no sweat, and you cut through the bosses like butter... not very exciting.

But I loved the ending. I wept. And through my sobbing, I laughed out loud because they turned Tidus into Michael Jackson (just watch him when he is on the airship saying goodbye).

You haven't really finished FFX without beating all of the monsters in the Monster Arena, and the dark aeons. (especially the foe that follows!) That is the actual challenge to the game. Sin is a cake walk.

I don't really think beating monsters in Monster Arena is worth doing.
I actually beat all of them, which added at least 25 hours to original playing time.
I thought it was cheap, what you have to do is just to collect good status-spheres and replace old ones with them.
After you have learned Quick-Hit, there's nothing to worry about, you just keep using it and any opponent will die( plus you need a little bit of tactic)

I wanted to try dark aeons but I couldn't be bother buying it for just beating them, it's expensive.

If you don't bother taking on all the challenges in the game, then you can't say the game is easy.

If you know the right tactics, it just becomes time consuming.
