Hi there people!
I am a professionnal music composer, and I always loved Uematsu's music!
I already posted in 2011 for an arrangement I made with "The Promised Land"(FFVII-AC) which you can listen here:
https://soundcloud.com/jeremie-friez/the-promised-land

Few month ago, I decided to work on Dancing Mad, from FFVI, a real challenge to arrange, but it was for the better!
I tried to get close to Uematsu's classical/baroque influences to get a rich piece of music!
You can listen it here: https://soundcloud.com/jeremie-friez/dancing-mad-kefkas-apogee

Please, don't hesitate to comment and to follow me on soundcloud, I'll be working on more FF and other RPG's arrangements in the next month.
You can also check my original music if you want.

Musically,
Jrmie Friez.

Hey People!
I just wanted to update this thread.
I have a new youtube channel so I wanted to share it:

Here is a video I made for my Dancing Mad arrangement,
Don't hestiate to like, share and subscribe!
I can't close my other channel(can't access it...), I need to have a maximum views!

Musically speaking, I put this project in stand by as I'm still waiting for the rights owner to let me sell my sheet music!

Anyway, thanks guys!
Enjoy the music!

If you ever actually get Square to give you publishing rights, let me know! I have some string arrangements for various Final Fantasy songs that I want to publish through my website, and so far it's been a real pain in the butt to get in touch with anyone.

Hi,
for now I'm in touch with someone at Faber Publishing but it's been more than a year for my Promised Land arrangement, since june for Dancing mad... It's really slow...
I contacted a japanese guitar player who released three songbooks of guitar arrangements to know how he did. He told me that the guys at Square Enix are really not confident with arrangements and scores. He also told me that they were supposed to open a service especially created for this matter more that two years ago and he is still waiting.
The way he managed to release his arrangement is simple.... A publisher contacted him to ask him to work for SE...
That and my orchestral arrangements, I believe that I will concentrate on the publishing rights for the piano.

Speaking of which, here is my latest arrangement. Liberti Fatali, hope you'll enjoy:

Anyway, yes I'll tell you if something happens. Pm me if you want my email so we can stay in touch.
I'd be curious to listen your arrangements though!

Jeremie.

Hey everyone!

I totally forgot to update!
I finally released my Final Fantasy Piano Arrangements album!

Let me introduce you to my first release of my long term project called:

"GameTime Stories"

This project will have me arranging video game music from the great 90's and early 00's JRPGs (such as Final Fantasy, Grandia, Chrono Trigger, Valkyrie Profile or even Wild Arms) for different instruments or orchestral ensembles or rock band.

First for solo piano first with the "Vol.1: Piano Memories from Final Fantasy", album released in January 2017 which consists in ten rearranged songs from Final Fantasy VI, VII, VIII and XI.
Here's the list:

01 - FFXI Opening Theme (FFXI)
02 - Anxious Heart (FFVII)
03 - Dark World (FFVI)
04 - The Landing (FFVIII)
05 - Off The Edge of Despair (FFVII)
06 - J-E-N-O-V-A (FFVII)
07 - Liberti Fatali (FFVIII)
08 - Buried in the Snow (FFVII)
09 - The Promised Land (FFVII A.C.)
10 - Dancing Mad (FFVI)

The objective is to pay tribute to the great japanese composers who made all of us dream during our childhood(or make us actually dream...... Yes still play these games regularly!!) by different means.
I have plans for some orchestral arrangements for the Vol.2 but also have larger plans for some Jazz, Progressive Metal, or even solo fingerstyle guitar albums.

Thanks to Soundrop(former Loudr), I legally have the publishing rights which allows Mr. Uematsu to get a part of each sale!

Jabberwock, I'm 100% grabbing your work from iTunes. I hope it's not terribly rude for me to jump in here and say that some of the (other) best FF piano arrangements I've ever heard are from Mark Andrews. He just started a Patreon for people who would like to support him. I like his stuff so much I thought I'd share.

Here's his rendition of Liberi Fatali (this is the only one I've heard that gives Jeremie here a run for his money).

And here's the Patreon where he's recently uploaded the FFXIII battle theme Blinded By Light. Everything he uploads always has sheets with it :)

I'm one of his Patrons, so I'm not getting paid to plug his stuff. He's just too good not to share!

Hey mate,
Thanks a lot for your support!
(Don't hesitate to share with people you know!)

My next album might be published by the Materia Collective and should be a piano collection of some musics from Chrono Cross!
I have choose the tracks I'll be adapting and send it to them soon.

Just gave a look to the Liberti Fatali video, he is indeed incredible!
Thanks for that I subscribed to his youtube channel!
