So has anyone watched either anime? I really enjoy these two, they each have such deep meaning unlike other animes. Though Im wondering if the Cowboybebop episodes are out on dvd? Because ive never seen the last episode, and im so anxious to watch it.

has anyone watched wolfs rain also? that is one hell of an anime. Its nice, but it lacks a certain element. I think its just it doenst have much appeal, and its a lot of talk. I never saw it as a dramatic anime though..

Cowboy Bebop has been on dvd for a very long time.

It's not fair to say that other anime doesn't have deeper meanings. In fact, I've seen a lot that were so philosophical as to hurt your head.

As for Wolf's Rain, I'm just not interested. More of the same in a shiny new wrapper...

I imagine most people here have seen at least some of both of them, since they're both on adult swim.

I adore Cowboy Bebop, although I'm a bit sick of it right now.

As for Wolf's Rain. . .I couldn't really think of a bad thing to say about. I can't get into it though, at all. I have to struggle to pay attention to the episodes, to be perfectly honest.

There are plenty of animes with deeper meanings. Just because you haven't seen them doesn't mean they don't exist. :)

Oh I know that, Im saying from other animes that I have seen most of them lack some deep philosophical meaning. I would never make the judgement in general since I have not seen every anime.

wolfs rain is far more philosophical than bebop, and hard to just jump into mid season, like i did. but both are mucho good.

Thats the only problem with Wolfs Rain, its starts off way to slow and you tire of it in the beginning. It gets better towards the middle of the series, things get more interesting after Chessa arrives and then leaves again :p

I think that was the problem with Wolf's Rain for me. It was just... so..... slooowww........ so I was just trying to stay awake for a full episode.

Normally, I'd like shows that have a dark edge and philosophy to them, too. So that was weird, I thought I'd actually LIKE Wolf's Rain, but it the characters just didn't seem to be very charismatic at all. I just don't feel like caring about whether they live or die or eat or sleep or... do anything for that matter.

But... yeah, it's a pretty series. Very pretty. I'll give it that.

I love Cowboy Bebop.
I've seen the whole series twice.
Getting kinda old if ya ask me.

As for Wolf's Rain, I don't like it that much.
It seems ok, I've just never been interested in it.

((But of course people who like Bebop are gonna like WR, they had the same people create them))

*SPOILER WARNING*

On the last episode of cowboy bebop, Spike had told a story about a cat before he went off to fight that guy. ( and i was crushed, because he left everyone, and faye seemed so affected (and im so attatched spike and faye) ) I really liked the story, but I never really understood the meaning of it. Like, is it supposed to relate to him and how he has lived his life?[

I suppose in a way it did relate to how Spike had been living. He was living for Julia, always wanting to be with her. It was kinda of a regret that kept him going....at least that's my take on that...something like.

Ok dude, no spamming you ass.

Anyway.... I love both these shows. I don't understand Wolf's Rain yet, but it's a very stylish and beautiful anime. I'm gonna buy that one on DVD.
