I dunno - Howarth's re-released Halloween scores seem to be a mixed batch (Halloween II, I'm looking at you!!!). Let me know what you come up with regarding the film order (if you don't mind :)).

I plan on posting it once I finish. I originally did a rip using the dvd years ago so I'm working with that to get everything in order. I'm trying to find out if any music from halloween 4 was recycled and used in 5 from Howarth

I'm going to assume that it will be, based on what's been done prior and that being the final Howarth Halloween score. Probably around this time next year...

Then that's some good news right there. Maybe we'll get the very cool rock version of the stalk theme and other unreleased tracks. But, I doubt it will happen.

Sorry, but is this the exact soundtrack music as heard in Halloween 5 the movie? Or is this cd a whole new re-recording? I'm confused. :/

He means he didn't reuse any cues from Halloween 4 when he wrote the score for Halloween 5. While working on my edit using the expanded soundtrack now I understand why he didn't put everything in order a lot of the music is reused more than once in the film. In order to make a complete soundtrack you need to use both mixes on the soundtrack.
