I know, I know... It already exist a lot of thread about Pearl Harbor, but don't blame me :)

Few times ago, I decided to create my own version of this score which is one of my favorite Zimmer's score...

This edition contains all tracks from all different existing editions. I mixed tracks from :

- Original CD
- Partial isolated DVD Score (director's cut edition 4 DVD)
- Almost complete score 44-tracks (which appeared few years ago)
- Sessions 66-tracks (which appeared few months ago)
- StRuPiE's edition (who ripped some excellent tracks without SFX !!!)
- Klaus Badelt's cues

This is the most complete edition you can find, with all film / alternate / short / unused versions. This is an mp3-320 kbps edition, except for some rare tracks from sessions (128 kbps). It's a sort of "recording sessions"...without being a real one, of course...

I think you're talking about the music we can hear on your video from 2:20, right ? :) Yes, this film version is in my edition (from the 66-tracks sessions, by the way). It's the track named 71 - 30 Seconds over Tokyo.

From 0:10 you said ? It's still the same track called " 30 seconds over Tokyo " in my edition. The music you're looking for is from 1:29 in this track.

The scene you show us with your link is not an "air battle scene"...if we consider that "air battle" corresponds to the scene where Rafe & Danny shoot japanese's planes.

The film version is extended compared to the ost version ("war"), and should also contain a synth insert that the "almost" complete never had.

In my edition, you have 3 different versions of the track "30 seconds over Tokyo".

71 - 30 Seconds over Tokyo is the Film Version, from the 66-tracks Sessions
72 - 30 Seconds over Tokyo (alternate) is the version from the 44-tracks almost complete score
73 - 30 Seconds over Tokyo (short) is the OST version ("War")
