anyone else enjoy playing the games?

i've played a good chunk of them, and, it's slowly becoming one of my favorite game series. all the games easily provide hours of fun!

i'm playing pokemon ruby right now, which is awesome.

so anyone else feel the same way :D

I played pokemon blue a lot and it was awesome. but back then, I had friends who played it so we could trade and fight. I think I might get one of the new GBA ones but I'd have nobody to play with. =(

they are addictive though.

Whenever I play Final Fantasy XI for hours and hours and hours and hours and hours and not choosing to help FFShrine for that day and for more hours and more hours.... I have my GBA SP on the side to raise my Pokemon.

So far, I have 10 Pikachus that I'm trying to determine which is the strongest. ^^;

i evolved my pikachu into a raichu :D

yeah, i could have just used a party full of legendary pokemon, BUT I DIDN'T.

I don't want to use Legendaries... heck, I can't use them for Battle Tower anyways ;_;

i'm torn... rayuqayqyaza would probably be easier to catch with ultra balls just cause he doesn't flee. :(

I got a Latias via Eon Ticket from subscribing to Nintendo Power omg!

I'd use it for Latios/as or save it for later when FR/LG comes out.

I think that the good old fasioned Pokemon is better than the new ones.

Like Diglet and Dugtrio and Charizard etc.

They rocked, so i played pokemon yellow and blue and ruby and sapphire are crap.

I loved Pokemon Yellow, it was actually alot of fun to play but soooooo much better compared to the series. I loved my team consisting of: Moltrs, Articuno, Zapdos, Vaporeon, Hypno and Mewto. They were pretty awesome. :d

The old Pokemon games kinda turned me off when I started playing them again... mostly because there was no true Balance between the Top Tier and the Legendary Tier. If you had like 6 Mewtwos, you already won. Not to mention is that the game was all about hitting level 100 and really neglects that 50 level bound that no one cares about.

Glitches and bugs also made it worse... you know how I felt when I lost ALL of my Pokemon in my boxes for no reason? Or how the game just got corrupted somehow? Pretty nasty I tell you. The item dup glitch also made things crap.

I never experienced any of those glitches. I did play red/blue once and was intrueged by the missingno pokemon glitch. Supposedly it deletes your save game or some nasty stuff. I'm currently playting through Ruby and I'm having a hard time with all the names. Given is that it does has a way better balance even for the lower level pokemon that you may have with you. Alot of the extras like the barbers and name raters etc doesn't really interest me.

personally, i only see the legendaries as something i should collect, rather than use.

Only because i want a TINY bit of a challenge. MY BROTHER WILL BE IN FOR A HUGE SUPRISE WHEN I DROP MY RAICHU AND RAPE HIS KYORGE ROFL

i used to enjoy playing the pokemon games.....the old versions, blue and red........but i dont think i wouyld like to play the others, cos....well, there are too much different pokemon, it gets boring........to me anyway!

I don't have much of a team now since I'm just raising everyone straight up to 50 and 100.

But Mawile has a place in my <3.

I don't think the new ones are bad at all. I have Pokemon Sapphire, and I had tons of fun mixing all the perfect berries so that my Skitty would win all these contests.

Pokemon in general is pretty underrated, I think. Most people over the age of 12 will look at you funny if you tell them you're playing Pokemon.

i agree with you bout the age thing......but i dont play them anymore, cos i dont like the gameboy anymore!

i love all the pokemon games and the shows. i like the newer games though because they are more realistic. like that you could be male or female and the pokemon's mood and stuff. also the weather changes and the changes between day and night. and i can't wait for Fire Red and Leaf Green.

I used to play it
I played Red(missing 3 pokemon!), Yellow, and Silver versions.
It starts to get boring when you know how to duplicate stuff andget ur pokemon to max lvl.......but I just cant resist doing it!

I played Yellow and Gold but I haven't played them in a long time. I have thought about getting one of the news now that I have a game boy advance, but there are others games that I would like to get first.

Ive played yellow, red and blue - i havnt really played ruby or sapphire properly but i know their good, pokemon emerald is coming out, i think im going to get that, it has team magma and auqa in it, im excited about that and rayquaza that pokemon is sick.

Lol anyway i'd say if your looking for a pokemon game, WAIT AND GET EMERALD!

i think all the pokemon games are cool.

The Pokemon series is great, due to long times you can past by playing pokemon on a Gb or Gba, ect.

I used to have all 251 in my Gold Version, but then I got bored and started over again. Currently I'm working on a team I had back in the day:

Im getting bored of pokemon.. even with the new games coming out and everything they are trying to carry pokemon on... and its not gonna work from my point of view.

I bought Pokemon Yellow using the Sky Digital ordering system. First and only thing I ordered using it. The game was good, but I kind of got bored of it. It might be because my screen is buggered up and I was using the old style brick Gameboy and nothing fancy-new, but I didn't get back into it. :(

Maybe if I get a GBA, I'll get back into it.
