Riki, your rip doesn't match the song lengths posted on VGMdb. Did you post a gamerip or CDrip or is VGMdb wrong (times probably posted by the same person who posted the detailed liner notes, which show that Uematsu only did 2 tracks as opposed to the entire soundtrack like your rip shows and Earthbound Papas in total only performed 7 tracks)?
As I explained in the thread:
The soundtrack was recorded from the in-game music gallery and uploaded to a Youtube playlist (according to the uploader (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9-EX1wdack&list=PLPGAxgMnxVqeBMwdhrDoPVxiNNr_LzGch)), which was linked to in the VGM Requests thread here on the forums. I merely downloaded the soundtrack, converted the files, tagged it appropriately, and then uploaded it for listening pleasure here.
With that said, full credit goes to Kenneth BR for providing the music in the first place. I'm not the one who put it up on Youtube, so any thanks towards me is only partly due.
When I last checked the VGMdb page for Fairy Fencer F, the tracklist had yet to be posted, so the only names I could take came from the Youtube channel. It was just a placeholder page beforehand. From the looks of it, they updated the list only recently.
Regarding the artists, I noticed that Nobuo's name was mentioned first in the composer list, so I took it to mean that he was the head composer/musical supervisor, just like Koji Kondo is for various projects in Nintendo. This was before the tracklist update, by the way; they pretty much only had composers up at the time.
Sorry for any confusion on the matter. Before the update, Fairy Fencer F's soundtrack was in pretty hot demand, and I knew how to at least get the music uploaded, so I took the time to do it, and people overall were pleased. Yes, it's unofficial, but I think it suffices until an "official" upload is made.
