when are we gonna get new shows :(

The new shows start at the ned of feb in the U.K so my guess would be you guys getting a new saga in the next couple of weeks

I wonder what that means for the Australian episodes :confused: :( :notgood:

What you mean new shows? New episodes ,that depends, how much have you seen? The andriod saga, The cell saga, the otherworld saga, the Great Saiyaman saga, or part of the Buu? If you've seen the last one then that was the latest ones. It takes a while from them to translate it from Japanese to English, then there is the rewrite and revision. Removing blood and gore.

So far They just basically started in the Buu saga and they're not going to release anymore until they finish the Buu saga or get to a good stopping point. Right now they stopped at what they consider a good cliff hanger.

I hardly watch DBZ anymore. They stretch what could be a 2 hour movie into about a months worth of shows. I quit watching at the end of the cell saga. Looks like they have had quite a bit new episodes since then.

Ah I can't wait for the next DBZ episodes ("new" ones). I still need to see the android and cell saga. I've only seen the saiyan saga, planet namek saga (but that's been a while, my brother is going to burn a copy of his friend's namek saga, he got the saiyan saga for xmas and I finished them yesterday ^.^), great saiyaman saga and part of the buu or whatever. So yeah I still have a lot to see!! I hope they come soon..It'd be much better if they didn't edit out all the gore and stuff though!

The Buu saga is one of the longggggest sagas of DBZ so i hope they dont wait till there done with the whole thing...

I'm assuming most of you here are in Australia. The new episodes are starting on Cheez TV quite soon, like a week or so, but on Foxtel, they have Dragon Ball episodes. That's kewl.

I'm Australian, but the title indicates the fact that they are talking about the eps in the US. Damnit!! New eps are starting on tuesday next week for the Aussies, can't wait!!!!

In DragonBall I believe that we (USA) will be getting the Red Ribbon Saga soon.

Right now.. The last show I watched was "The Final Anotment" Where Majin Vegeta self destructs. I have resorted to D/L the Jap English Subtitles so I can be ahead.

Me hopes it won't be that long. Actually at Gadzooks they sell the full english buu saga. Why doesn't Toonami just use those. :confused:

Like DBZ even has a plot. No, the buu part of the story isn't screwed up. The anime is based on the manga and I think the anime follows the manga quite well, actually. They are practically identical except the art in the manga is way better, and the manga doesn't take forever to finish off Freeza, or Cell, or Buu. DBZ is a fighting anime, so of course it doesn't have a plot line. The summary of DBZ is just about Goku and the other saiyans kicking villains' butt.

we ended with Final Atonement, where Vegeta destroys himself.

For the Dragonball anime, they took the manga, pumped them up with hot air and dialogues like "I am stronger than you! - No, I am stronger than you! - now I will kill you! - No I will kill you!" and made them bigger, stronger, louder, faster, but not better.
I was quite amazed. In the manga, Freezer and his daddy land on earth and are taken out by Trunks in some short pages. In the anime, Freezer and his daddy arrive along with some other idiots, they do a typical DBZdialogue with Trunks, then their minions are killed, then they talk again, and after some episodes they get akilled, too...
I am glad I read the manga and don�t have to suffer from the TV series...

Does anyone know when the newer episodes of the Buu saga will come out, or has anyone already seen them or something... I hate suspense

Actually, I'm pretty sure that dbgt is drawn by akira toriyama. He's the only person in the world who draws like that... I don't like his style at all. And like gt is any different from dbz. It's just pointless fighting, with guys grunting all over the place.-_- Boring.

Does anybuddy know where Masamune DX went, he unsubscribed or something. Now i don't think i can put him in the sig. I missed the last episode of the Cell saga thingy... the one where gohan destroyed him and goku died (i think)

I think the only thing worse then the lack of plot in DBZ, is the sometimes pathetic attempt at a plot. The Freezer saga lasted WAY too long, Cell was tolerable, but only because of Juuhachigou(android 18) and Juunaningou(s/p?)(android 17) Buu is just downright annoying... I saw some of the new eps that came out on tape and DVD and Babidi somehow gets ressurected after being ripped in half by Piccolo. *grunt* oh and Carrbunkle, Gadzooks is a punk store, kinda like Hot Topic is a goth store.

Well about the theory of a "fighting anime" I dont think thats true. There is gundam wing where fights break out every show hardcore...and it still has a whicked plot...even though its kinda hard to understand/stand/follow. whatever.

Yeah, and then there's also Kenshin, Tales of Eternia, Vandread, Record of Lodoss War, and a lot more. That's why dragon ball z is out dated. Back in the 80's it was the best because it had the best fight scenes. But now, we have all of these other great anime that have better animation, better fight scenes, better storyline, and better characters. I will never understand why they brought dragon ball to north america. It's just way too old. It may have been the best of its time, but it's not good enough in the millenium.;)

Ya not for insain power or even crazy fights, but the anime for best movment in fight scenes would have to be noir. If your a hard core DBZ fan this might not be for you...but if you like anime like love hina, neon genesis evangelion and trigun this might be for you.

Um i think its coming quite yet. I think July-August. It was on the Offical Dragonball Z site(I think) The Majin Buu episodes are also on vhs. March 17 for them. I reserved um
