Notes: Finally, a fresh, upgraded 24/96 rip of Castlevania Bloodlines. I've adjusted my hardware configuration for Genesis ripping, modding a console with a couple of RCA jacks connected directly to the [VA6] motherboard. As with the NES rips, the unamplified audio signal is intercepted prior to amplification, theoretically resulting in a cleaner signal with less distortion. A FiiO E6 headphone amp boosts the signal to something closer to line level, and any additional amplification is done in software.

Any reason you ignored my last response to this request of yours? Since ALL actual hardware rips are hard to find, and since you were posting in a emulator rip thread about it earlier, I'll assume you don't care if it's from the actual console hardware. In that case, I'll repost what I did earlier:

Just use the game's SPC file and a SPC player. Both can be found here SPC Players and Tools ~ SNESmusic.org (http://snesmusic.org/v2/players.php) .

That's what most these fan rips of classic VGM are made from on this forum (sound code rips passed through an emulator). It's so much simpler just to use the SPC and player yourself instead of messing around uploading / downloading these huge and pointless FLAC/MP3 transcodes. And most popular portable devices also have players that support the small sound code rip files, too.

spc = snes, nsf = nes, gbs = Game Boy

You could be listening to those soundtracks right now, or making your own MP3s from them. The SNESamp plugin for Winamp is preferable, but it's probably a little easier to: download the appropriate LAME MP3 bundle for your system (http://www.rarewares.org/mp3-lame-bundle.php), install foobar2000 (http://www.foobar2000.org/download), install the foo_gep plugin (http://kode54.foobar2000.org/), load up the spc in foobar, right click, convert, choose MP3 and navigate to the lame.exe you download in step 1. It's pretty simple stuff. But whatever. Ignore this simple solution and walk around begging for months for crap that you could get yourself within minutes.

If you were specifically wanting an authentic hardware rip: Iron Goat said he might be doing hardware rips with an SNES console in the future, and to leave your requests, but no guarantees.

I have already done that and I've done a whole bunch of others with Winamp.
The only reason I'm looking for Dracula x is because the only ones I can find
Have a musical glitch in the first song on the SPC file and I've found other ones
Like say on soulseek and they don't have that glitch but they are not 320.

So the only reason I'm looking for another is because of that reason, and I've already done
Castlevania IV so I'm not looking for it anymore. I'm not stupid I can do things like this myself.

Yeah, that's exactly the reason I don't bother with FLAC/MP3 made from emulator crap. It's a waste of time and space. And that's exactly the reason Iron Goat is the coolest guy on this forum, with his rips made straight from the console and cart. :) Let's hope he does do some SNES (and Game Boy).

So i'm guessing the actual song from the cartridge sounds fine without the glitch, hopefully.

That's a remarkably timely question. I ordered an SD2SNES, and received it less than a week ago. Expensive, but it works beautifully. Both Castlevania IV and Dracula X are on my short list anyway, so they should be in with the first batch of rips I release (probably within a couple of weeks).

Unless this "glitch" you are talking about is just a quirk of how the game + SNES is supposed to sound. Sometimes emulators use techniques to hide ugly quirks of the hardware, which might be why you are able to find other rips without this "glitch". Like for Mega Man 2 on the NES; an accurate hardware rip will have a bunch of pops and crackles that you won't hear on foo_gep or some other emulators.

So this sd2snes is a cart to load ROMs on the SNES? That's understandable, since getting actual carts can be very expensive, but is there ANY chance that inaccuracies can arise because of it? Like, a bug with the cart's firmware, or something?
