Is this score only? (No radiostations?)

OrangeC

Yes score only as The creator of openIV has included those only.

Another guy on xentax is suppose to be adding audio extraction in his next update.

I had a feeling OpenIV was gonna be compatible, as it had worked (for me) with L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3, but I was worried the archives were gonna be too tightly-interlaced, with the crap all hidden in root folders. -Awesome as usual, Mr. Orange.

Im not entirely sure as in the game it might omit some layers and play the stealth version then it adds thge proepr layers to make it action. The tracks can vary though.

Oh well, I'm just going through each folder and adding all of them together. I don't care, they sound better "complete".

I was wondering if anyone had the loading screen music and the pause menu music in good quality? I've searched around in the rip files but they seem to only be at 96kbps

OrangeC

Because they are in mono tracks. mux to stereo first.

Take those two mono files in the loading folder and load them into an audio editor and export as a stereo track. Its not hard.

Wow, very nice. And yay, this track "wdy_silver_pussy.wav" is when Trevor goes after The Lost when you first play his him! I can't wait for the rampage tracks.

I've also heard a little pop in that track as well as in "Dead Man Walking." I'm not sure if that's the files, but I hope it'll be fixed when you're finished.

Edit: Checked in audacity, there's definitely a pop around the 3:20:80 mark on "wdy_silver_pussy.wav". Still, very nice mixing.

Edit 2: Nvm, one of the rampage tracks is included. Can't wait for the other one.

Thanks for this amazing upload! Two questions:

1. Is the point of the separate tracks that the game can pick and choose them to create different listening experiences? In other words, is mixing all tracks not necessary (or even not the intension) to create a good cue?
2. Has anyone ever bothered to name all the folders with more comprehensive titles? If so, could someone post them?

1. I guess the point of all the separate tracks

Some very good news for PC owners of Grand Theft Auto V and/or keen "rippers".

OpenIV just updated their tool to version 2.6.4, adding Audio support for Grand Theft Auto V, which of course includes full capability to extract it's audio to WAV.

OpenIV ? RAGE Research project Blog Archive OpenIV 2.6.4 ? Now with audio (http://openiv.com/?p=1144)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxHH7Du5VrE

Comparing the music files to that of the currently provided torrent in the OP, the PC version provides a very noticeable upgrade from the 7th generation console files OpenIV initially provided in the torrent the OP kindly provides, with a jump from 32,000hz to 48,000hz and a WAV file bitrate of 1536kbps for every licensed tune & original score file I've exported & checked (If Windows Properties is telling me the truth).

Unfortunately, I've already got my hands full with my own tasks to complete to attend to this myself (And this isn't me asking anyone to do it for me either), but if you've got yourself a PC copy of Grand Theft Auto V, it's just an installation of OpenIV away from having a grand library of music to listen to, edit/mix or even export & share with grand convenience.

Sure it's great, but there are some distortions in almost all sound files, it's not so good. But quality is now really improved.

Yeah, your mixes are pretty good, but I had to rip them from YouTube/SoundCloud/VK.

It would be great if you could place all the tracks in a central location like Mega or Zippyshare.
