Released in 1996, Philip Glass's score performed by the English Chamber Orchestra captures the moody desolation of nineteenth century London and the madness and desolation that is at the center of Conrad's novel.

I love Glass and this is a great moody and restrained orchestral score highlighted by cello and oboe. Maybe it didn't fit the film too well, but it sounds marvellous on its own to me. I've got the Nonesuch and Orange Mountain CDs, but the music is the same. Am glad you are bringing this to a wider audience.

It's nice to hear something a little atypical (at times) from Glass. Great share!
