My mate just lent me the entire series and i think there quite good, there certianly a biit slow to start so i havent got very far who else has them can u give me the location of secrets e.t.c?

i just rented out the game for the PS2, i liked it quite alot. i'm at the part where your in the scientists offices.

hmm, i dont like the PS2 version the controls are to tricky, these sorta games were made for PS2 and the should stay that way

get a good connection and download the cs full 1.3 patch and play CS

yah counterstrike kicks ass.. best mod ever .. i swear u will play it and be addicted for the rest of your life trust me

Half-Life (PC) gets into my top 5 best games of all time list.
But I disagree with CS being the best mod, it's certainly the most popular, and it can be pretty fun. But I think it's getting a little boring now, not much change. I suggest checking out www.planethalflife.com

I really didn't get into Half-Life at all but I like one of the online-mods for it Called Counter-Strike. I love it!

Your right, I loved D.O.D. But there is no point playing it with Wolfenstein around.
I suggest to everyone, buy Wolfenstein. It's a pretty linear single player game, but online it can be really fun. :D

Never heard of it, It's pretty realistic anyway.
The thing that sucks is that they just recently lost the rights to use the real gun names...it will suck even more now. :(

Yes half life single player is awesome, the story etc

C-S is easilly by far the most popular MOD, someone said if you play it you are instantly addicted, not for me, i dont like cs at all, boring/too hard. My favourite mod is DMC cuz im a fan of quake, i used to play half life death match but i dont play anymore.

Half life is also in my top 5 list of greatest games - not only does it have a great single player but the multiplay options are huge, loads of MODs (sub games)

a pity cs got hacked till its guts came out...

Yeah, DMC is awesome. And seeing that Valve made it them selves, the models are really well done.

I got a 512k modem and CS is still laggy, you need a good graphics card to play it right because it will really Lag up when you come across enemys or when people throw HE's.

But Team Fortress is just the most fun game online ever. Even if it lags you can still play it because unlike in CS you dont spend more time dead than you do alvive, you just respawn and keep going.

Wanted! is crap.

Halflife Multiplayer is very good.

Still I prefere TF to any of these. Firearms isnt that good it has good features but its hard to tell who is on what team.

And I dont play halflife one player because its just shit :p

Half-Life is the greatest single player game of all time. Greatest storyline in an FPS!

As for the mods, TFC is such good fun! Games can get really mad at times!

I find CS to be boring now, but thats just my opinion (its too slow).

My favourite mods for HL would have to be The Opera and Wasteland. They are both totally original and both excellent!

I enjoyed HL, but in some ways it didnt live up to the hype. It's still great though. Im hanging out for the Bushido mod to get released :D

I love TFC and i cant wait until TFC 2 comes out but its taking too long (original release date 1999 i think)

DOD (only because we cant get RTCW multiplayer working)

and HL single player is quite good especially the giant green tentacle that cant see you

There are no secrets in HL. I play some mods of the game such as Op4, AHL, CS and DC. However secrets are very rare, there may be an occasional health dispenser in a room somehwre but thats about it.

It lived up to its hype X 1000.

I now enjoy DMC, Half-lifedm (Ag mod) half-life multiplayer requires skillllzzz (check out some garpy demos at challenge-tv)

cs is fun on a lan, me and my mate plus 2 POD bots, vs 4 POD bots is a real laugh and very tactical because we can talk to each other. I havnt had the chance ot play DOD =(

Wanted! is not bad but will only last you 20 mins.

Im now in a DMC community of trick jumping. =)
