Can some1 please Tell me how to kick Dark Aeon Ass? i trained for hours and at the end of it they still kick my ass even when i use anima they still beat me can some1 plz tell me or give me a clue as to how to kill the dark Aeons plz

I used Yojimbo so meh. :x I don't really have a strategy for you.

what charters do you use the most
charge up all aeon overdrives
cast hastega
if your going agaist someone like ifrit or shiva put on bangles and what ever that asborb that elmentaly type or nufile it like nublaze etc

The Dark Aeons cheat. Nulblaze or Fire Eater won't work against Dark Ifrit's Helfire, cause it's somehow non-elemental. It's the same with Dark Shiva's Diamond Dust and Dark Ixion's Thundaja and Thor's Hammer.

It really depends what Dark Aeon you're fighting.

Simple completing the default sphere grid may only be good enough to defeat Dark Valefor.

But no matter what you're fighting, make sure that you have these abilities on your some of your armours:

Auto-Haste
Auto-Protect
Auto-Phoenix
Ribbon

I wouldn't advise using just those abilities, some you don't even need depending on which Dark Aeon your fighting.

Aeons can't really fight because they're alone and don't have all the abilities your characters have. From what you said about Anima you do need to raise your stats a bit more.

The Dark Aeons are far more difficult than any of the mandatory bosses.

I suggest going to GameFAQs (http://gamefaqs.com) and look at some guides.

Strange... Dark Ifrit never used Firaga against me. At least I don't think so. I can't really remember but I didn't equip Fire Eater.

Sorry squallthelionheart but are you talking about the Dark Aeons or the possessed Aeons at the end?

There's no way you could not have Break Damage Limit... well... only if you're doing a NSG game.

So you managed to beat Dark Ifrit using Ice Brand and not Caladbolg? Well... I guess that's possible... it just makes it harder.

excaliber then ice touch with breakdamge plus damage +20% first strike and something else cant rememvber

i do not belive this i did wht u said and lvl'd up my anima was hitting 9999 each hit with its over drive and dark valefor was still standing after 2 overdrives

dark valefor was the is easist to beat just annoying when he uses enegy blast just cast auto life and protect hastega is good too

I just Zanmato the Dark Aeons... it would take too much training to stand a chance of beating them without Yojiimbo.

Is "Penance" real or a myth? I heard that when you defeat all the dark aeons, you get to fight Penance, the most powerful creature in the game...

You should use all your Celestial Weapons.

A normal hit from your characters should do 99,999. But, you should always be using Quick Hit so you have more turns.

You shouldn't rely on Aeons for actually attacking. They should be there for sacrificial purposes. Once a Dark Aeon is about to use an overdrive, summon an Aeon, use their overdrive, then watch them die. Auto-Life is also useful.

i argree with i sacfise the aeon when a dark one is about to use its overdrive especially anima and magnus sisters

i started to best the dark aeons when i was really leveled up in the game.....to beat them i used either anima's overdrive or tidus overdirve...i cant rember what it is called...but he batters the enemy with a blitzball(or was that wakka?) i cant really rember, but all my characters were hiting 9999(or more) so when i did anima's or tidus' or whatever's overdrive with the multipul hittings, i usually beat them no problem....i had to use the both though.....

yeah blitzace thats it....did wakka not have one too? i cant really rember.....did anyone else use that technic?

is it yojimbo dark aeon you have to beat 3 times? or is that just on the normal one?

Tidus has Blitz Ace which hits 9 times and Wakka has Attack Reels which hits 12 times. But due to the high Defense of the Dark Aeons, they rarely do 99,999 each hit.

You have to fight Dark Yojimbo 5 times.

in x-2 he is so easy to kill he can raley kill anyone of the team he likes a mp attack that doesnt hurt and a weak slash

In X-2 the Aeons were weaklings exept shiva i donno how meny of my friends died when they were just looking at her it was very disturbing

you think dark anima is easy compaired to dark shiva

Dark Anima is one of the easiest ones.....Not even a challange

the hardest one was the magus sisters because their so rudy quick

Now I'm just getting confused.

Dark Anima is not one of the easiest Dark Aeons.... well not in FFX anyway.

where do you face dark anima in 10-2? ive forgotten...i dont think it was that hard though...the one in 10 was harder

in final fantasy 10 do the closter of trial in faths scar and anima will appear on gagazet over 10 million hp this is abad ass

Yay after around 12 hours of pure training i finaly defeated Dark Valefor Now lets ply for about 400 more hours to fight Dark Ifrit and Shiva

my advice to you is to buy a cheat disk if u cant be bothed to do it

yea but u should only do that if your incredibly lazy,i know some1 used one after they got half way through the game.

Only use a cheat device once you've fully completed the game in every way possible. You'll lose out on all the fun, (stress) and satisfaction if you use one without having done so.

but if a person fully completed the game would they the cheat disc? unless does it do somthing to your game that you cant do normally

i complete the game first, without any cheats, then the second/third time round, i use the cheats....its harmless if you have already completed the game.....but doing half way through, or from the start completely ruins it...

i use the cheats after ive completed a game for a bit of fun....ts nice to see what its like to kill everything in one hit!

i am not going to use a cheat disk if i do i prob wont enjoy the game anymore and even blitzball will be boring

dude...blitz balls boring...PERIOD!...haha that only cause i suck at it though! i like playing blitz with cheats...i win now!:D

blitzball is good but you need good players i recmend a guy named rop albhed first rin shop outside luca and this is final fantasy 10 you fight dark anima in all versons including pal

nimrook is the best keeper in the game he has 13catdh at level1! hes found on the air ship

yeah the albhed goaile i got him when he left the albhed pysces

Dark Shiva's heavenly strike kills you and can break your Ribbon's protection against death!

Ribbon doesn't protect against death. It protects against everything except:

- Death
- Curse
- Delay
- Eject
- Breaks

lol yojimbo would be the fastest but if you want to do it properly you'll proly need complete sphere grids.

You need more than jut a complete grid, you need it complete and upgraded for for dark Anima and The magus sisters.

and a good idea of how too beat them they are not amatures
