I cant beat Seymour in Macalania Temple.I beat his guardians and anima easily but I cant beat him.He only has 3,000 HP left because I used Hellfire[Ifrits Overdrive] to kill his guardians and hurt him.He has 6,000 hp from the start.Please help me!

Bring in Yuna and have her use all of her Nul- spells. Seymour attacks with only elemental magic, and he does so in a pattern. Scan him to find this pattern out (I forgot), and then keep casting the Nul- spells with Yuna to prevent the upcoming spell attack, while your other 2 characters focus on attacking Seymour.

Anywho, why don't you try this:

Tidus, Yuna, and Wakka will all have the ability to use a Trigger Command allowing them to speak with Seymour. If you decide to talk to him, Tidus's Strength will increase, Yuna's Magic Defense will rise, and Wakka's Strength will go up as well.

The first thing that you want to do is kill the Guado Guardians. Both of them have the Auto-Potion ability, which cures some of their HP everytime they are attacked. To nullify their Auto-Potion ability, simply steal a Potion from each of them. Now, they won't be able to cure themselves everytime you attack them. Once you have done this, go ahead and finish them off.

Now the fun really begins. Once you have eliminated the Guado Guardians, Seymour will then raise Anima. After a couple turns of fighting it, Yuna will have a new Aeon in her Summon window. When you summon it, you will notice that it is Shiva.

After you have Shiva joined in the fight, you want to play a defensive strategy. While Anima is attacking you with Pain and Boosts it's Overdrive, have Shiva cast Blizzard spells on herself. This will restore some of her HP, and also charge her Overdrive at the same time. As soon as she hits Overdrive, unleash the Diamond Dust attack. This will cause Anima 9,999 HP damage. Then, all you have to do is repeat this process until you have defeated Anima.

Once you have eliminated the monstrous Aeon, you need to dismiss Shiva as soon as possible. From this point on, don't summon any more Aeons, as Seymour will only kill them.

At this point in the battle, Seymour will begin casting multi-spells at each party member. It would be wise to keep Yuna in the party to cast Life on her fallen comrades. Also, cast Haste on Yuna first, and then any other characters that you want to.

You can also cast Protect on any party member you see fit. Have Lulu poison Seymour with Bio, and then let Auron attack him with Magic Break. After this, just simply attack Seymour and keep your HP high.

I think your problem is that you're underpowered. I suggest training a bit more, or you could just use some rare items and mixes.

All these bosses can be defeated in the No Sphere Grid Challenge.

Use overdrives and Phoenix downs.

k heres a gr8 way to beat semour, the only slightly hard bit is anima

1.make sure yuna has cura, untill then my aeons could not do 9,999 damage :S
2. make sure yuna, ixion ifrit and valfour have overdrives
3. go into battle and summon (NOT grand-summon) ixion if u have trained yuna enough it'll do 9999 dmage to veryone.
4.yes he on has 6000 hp but hell somehow have enough hp to survive and summon anima. ixion will die but dont desummon him and if animas near overdrive use an aeon or u die (ull die with pain but at least u have one turn to try and summon an aeon)
5. pain has an instant death effect but aeons are immune to it , if izeon ndies grand summon shive and use dimond dust, on the turn anima has used pain desummon shiva and summon ifrit to use his speacial if by a fluke anima survives do the same with valafour, now
6.use ur party to slaughter semour so u get the xp :D
