Yuna's .... eyes one is blue one is green anyone have an explanation? It's kinda weird if you ask me and i wanna know if anyone knows why??

Its coz het mother was al bhed who hav all green eyes and her father wasnt an al bhed and had blues so she 1 green eye 4 her mother and a blue eye from her dad

She suffers from heterochromia.

The Al Bhed have swirly eyes. I guess that caused it really.

Yup, Yuna's mother is Al Bhed. All Al Bhed have green eyes with swirls. So I guess Yuna obtained a trait of having one of those particular eyes.

Actaully you may find people in real life with eyes such as those. A friend of mine has a blue eye and a brown one. But about Yuna I wouldn't know so I'll go with what is said. :-)

If someone took like genology or something that involves the different traits the parents pass on to their offspring, they may be able to explain this much more better.

It's sad. All Al Bhed have the same eyes...

Want eyes like that well buy a green eye color contact and a blue one, my friend did that for an anime convention looks cool so i bought a red one and looked like a freak... wow this post was pointless....

I've known one person in real life with two different colored eyes. It's extremely, extremely rare, which makes me wonder if there aren't some myths about people who have this.

Would be interesting to look it up and see if there was another reason why Square chose to give her the green and blue eyes.

Well in reality, it only occurs if there's been some sort of mutation to the specific genes. So the explanation of the mother being Al Bhed doens't really explain it. But swirly eyes are exactly real either...

i know this one kid his one eye is brown and the other is half brown half blue. it is so wierd, but asume. any ways i think thatyuna's eyes r so cool. i wish i was a mutiant likethat i could be a x-men. and be like i have diferent color eyes and im cooler than u!!!!

my mom has like blue and brown eyes. it is so woerd they like change colors.

my eyes are hazel, they are more green than blue sometimes and more blue than green sometimes.....its weird....

ive been told its because of the way the light hits them, it makes them look like one color more than the other...but i dont know...thats probebly right though....

I know why Yuna's eyes are like that. It happens in real life with animals like dogs and horses, and also a few celebrities have it. Yuna's mother was Al Bhed, and that mix (human/al bhed) is not very common, so I guess that mix has a big effect. Al Bheds always have green eyes (although Yuna's is not swirly) and Braska's was blue. It's something called Heterochromatic, being divided of colors or something like that. It was more common in the past, but now because of the gene pools, it's not as common even in animals. It doesn't have any defect on people, it just affects the corona of the eye. It does nothing more than have the eyes a different color. I personally think her eyes are beautiful and I wish I had eyes like that.

have anyone ever seen anyone with like emeralrd green eyes(really dark green) or really light or dark blue eyes? ive seen a couple...they're strange to look at...you just get draw into those deeply colored eyes......

Random thing i noticed, on the floor at the entrance of the guardo village there is a green albed swirly eye pattern like riku's eyes.

haha i dunno where i see them out and about, in pictures...just a one off i guess...or 2.....or 3..?

haha anyway its not like i see them all at the one time...i thing i seen the lady with the blue and brown eye when i was 7 or 8....

There's a famous Black model with really bright, yellow-green eyes. She's black/white I think, but I can't remember her name. There are bunch of models with eyes that are funny colored. This one girl that was Russian had eyes that looked like they were black but were actually blue. Look in Vogue or something or some other mag with a lot of pics of models.

heh no luck huh? my hazel eye's kinda take the look away from tidus(its hard to imagine tidus with greeny blue eyes isnt it?) ah well....ill get contacts like the samuri!

I think Yuna's dad was a yevonite, that would make sense, they all have blue eyes, with the exception of some. And that wouldn't normally happen with parents with different colour eyes, their kids would get one of the colours or mixed usually, I have goldish yellow eyes with hints of grey and gold, well, at least thats what the woman at Clinique told me!! People with two different coloured eyes were going to be twins but joined together in the womb, thats what my biology teacher said (note I paid attention in a class, very unusual for me! ):D. So, Yuna changes a lot in X-2, maybe her other side is in X-2 or maybe i don't have a clue what im talking about! Ah well!! :D xx I would love swirly al bhed eyes btw!!!!!

i wouldnt dye my hair either.....but i wouldnt get a wig.....

Hmmm, yeah. In the dreams/flashbacks as a little kid his and his mom's hair was kinda dark and more brown than blonde. Maybe he got highlights or spent too much time in the sun and his hair got all bright blonde. I dunno. Yes, yuna's eyes are weird but hers are the most unique and probably the best-looking too, in my opinion. i wish i had those eyes. very pretty >_<

but i didnt like how those eyes looked like in X-2.. they were too glowy, and they seem like christmas lights or something. in FFX tho, they're verrryyy beautiful and life like

my grandmother actually had one green eye and one brown eye and at times they would both be green or both be brown or one brown and one green so it is possible just unlikely.

I think the reason that Yuna had one blue eye and one brown is Squaresoft wanted to offset her from the rest because she was special. But it would be really kool to have one blue and one green eye. I have hazel green eyes and depending on my mood, the weather, and what I'm wearing depends on what color is more prominate, Brown or green.

Mine are usually brown or hazel. I've been told different colors though.

My friend has brown eyes and wears a blue contact in just one eye every now and then. It looks creepy on him.
