I get a lot of this but what do you guys think the best music in ff7 is? I'd go for jenovas theme :)

One Winged Angel or Aeris' Theme.There are some other really great songs but i have to go with these two for now.

I like Aeris's Theme, One Winged Angel and Jenova's Theme. That was one really catching song at the end when your battling it.;)

ya jenovas theme is great but i only like the end one. for jenova synethsis.

I don't particularly like One Winged Angel, it's just a bit slow for me.

one winged angel is the best song in ff7 to me.

I had a feeling lots of people would go for one winged angel but Aeris theme is just kinda'...sniff...to soppy. I stick to jenova's theme although now that I am reminded, Cids theme kicks ass too.

Boss Battle theme is soooo cool!!

Aeris' Theme did played a final moment on FF7's beloved character and was important on other scenes too. There were many good songs at the end of disk 3 when fighting Sephiroth but the most catchy song was Jenova and One Winged Angel. I also like the Shinra song promoting the new Pres. since I found myself singing along and the Bike Getaway music was also good too...It made me want to speed ahead and race.:)

i dont think theres any music in the game that i dont like, but i especially like the temple of the ancients music, the forgotten city music, and clouds past. they just give me so many memories of the game. the cave music is also very good.

I love Aerith's theme it's so pretty sounding! I like calling Aerith Aeris more but Aeris's theme is weird to say

And of course, being a Turk, ive gotta love my own theme. Even though it's like, a 23 second loop. HAHaha.

my highschool band played it one day, and i heard it on the radio one day and then i figured it's a real song so i looked it up and it's a real song, but i can't remember the composer or anything i just remember that it's a real song, and i saw the score in the band room of my school.

All of the character's main themes are really good. I think their themes are the best out of any other games.

I agree, the ff7 theme musics are the best but my favourite song in any FF has to be the one that plays in pandamona in ff9 when Zidane freaks out! Other than that FF7 has the best music.

I loved Red XIII's/Nanaki's theme (When your in Cosmo Canon)

have you guys heard Drunken Tiger's rendition of Cosmo Canyon called My Final Fantasy??? It's pretty good for incorporating a videogame song into a rap song. Drunken Tiger is a korean rap group, the song is on their 2nd album called The Great Rebirth, you can find it at www.angelpop.com (http://www.angelpop.com)

That is new to me, I never knew so many FF7 songs were real recordings. Does anyone else know of similar examples?

Aeris's theme and Tifa's theme are both really beautiful. There's other great music in the game too, but those two pieces stand out.

Theres some cracking tunes in the game, but I think some are far too repetetive and have me reaching for the mute button.
Cid themes probably my favourite.

me too i couldn't concetrate because i was crying so much. when i saw aeris die for the 1st time i was balling. i had sad dreams about it too, then it wanted me to kill sephie more...(even though i love the dude)

that boss battle seemed really weird because it was such a shock that Aeris had died, but the battle was really silent and then Aeris' theme played and I cried :(


Anyway, on a different note...does anyone in this forum play the piano? Cos I can play Aeris' theme and the opening theme on it, if you do, just PM and I'll tell you how if I can.

I would like to point out some one mentioned that Aeris/Aerith's theme was too slow and/or boring (or something like that). umm it was ment to be slow, thats whats so moving about it and makes it such a brilliant piece of music ( no offence to the postee)

Aeris's theme made me cry

The chocobo theme or Aeris' theme. I also like One winged Angel. But the only music in my ears is when Sephiroth whines for mercy when I beat the living crap out of him.

One winged angel. Aeris' theme. Descendant of the Shinobi. Highwind theme. I think maybe Cid's theme. You can hear the cries of the planet. Boss battle theme. Battle theme when fighting Bizarro Sephiroth. Cosmo Canyon theme. Ending credits with music from the original Final Fantasy. Nobuo Uematsu's music in FFVII is quite possibly the best except for FFX.

Aerith's Theme, Tifa's Theme, RedXIII's Theme, all theme's actually. One Winged Angel, You Can Hear the Cry of the Planet, Great Warrior and Opening Bombing Mission. These are all that I can come up with at the moment :)
