I have seen all of the above, but I haven't seen that much of Tenchi Muyo.

I've watched Evangelion through quite a few times though, and I was pretty big into Nadesico when I watched it.

The Nadesico was my favorite out of the 3, it was funny i think. Tenchi Muyo....the last time i saw that was when i was 10...i dont rember much of it. and Evangalion wasnt so hot(in my opinon) because of...well the story was lacking a little...i didnt get it...i knew the jist, 'must defeat the angels'...but Shinji was kind of wierd....and disturbed...not his fault...but still...i liked the Avas and the destruction...and the gore....but the story...i didnt get.....

The Nadesico is no.1!

Well, Evangelion... I just watch it accidentally when I was fourth year high school and it seems to be good battle against mecha.

I haven't seen any of those series except for Tenchi Muyo and not the edited crap that is shown on cartoon network!

I'm not surprised you didn't get Evangelion's story. It has some very mature elements that younger teens probably wouldn't follow. Also, it requires a large amount of religious knowledge since it's deeply rooted in the Judeo-Christian mythos. Try watching it again when you're 17 or 18 and you should understand it better.

Haha. Shouldn't it be "Watch it after you've studied christian mythos"? =\

Anyways, I read that the inclusion of the christian "symbolism" was arbitrary. I didn't like Eva, so it's not something I'm concerned about. Just an interesting cultural curiousity if it's true.

I said he should understand it better, not completely. :p

There's actually a very long story behind the Christian symbolism in that show. It was far from arbitrary.

Anyway, I enjoyed Eva for a while, but I was getting pretty sick of it by the end. I don't exactly dislike it, but I don't hold it in very high regard either.

The last couple of episodes confused me......why were they all in dark rooms? and why in the last episode was evryone clapping and saying 'congradulations'? it didnt make sence....his mother was there....and she was dead.....i didn't get it at all....preeti fun to watch though! i seen nearly evry episode, but when you missed one you were confused with the next.....

actully Prak, i did know that about the...was it 13 or 16? angels....i did know about the religious side of it...theres even religion in the name..'neon (light) genisis (begining) evangalion....i know that evangalion is a religious word....i think it means 'good news' or 'bearer of good news' something like that...but i will rewatch when im older and hope to understand it better....

One thing about the name of the show: It wasn't translated accurately for the American version. Shin Seiki Evangelion actually translates to "New Century Evangelion," or "The Gospel of a New Century."

The last couple episodes were confusing because they were slapped together on a very small budget. At the time, funding for the show had been terminated. Watching End of Evangelion helps to clarify what those couple of episodes meant, but it still can cause some pretty bad headaches. It's one of the nastiest anime acid trips I've seen, second only to Adolescence of Utena.

Haven't seen Crescent Moon.

Orphen wasn't what I expected it to me, but I liked it a lot.

Serial Experiments Lain is one of my very favorites. It's not for everyone though.

I hated Cowboy Bebop personally. There was no long-term planning on it, so I found that the lack of pacing made it almost unwatchable. I also couldn't make myself give a crap about the characters.

I never touched Gasaraki because I knew from the previews that it would be a stinker.

And Bubblegum Crisis is one of my old favorites.

Kill Bill

i've seen none of them...but my freind is a big fan of cowboy bebop...he says the ending kind stunk though....he said tha the main char. got shot and killed....kind of a bad way to end a series dont you think?

I used to watch an anime show...it told you anime news like; new releases, things that are doing well, ratings etc. and they mentioned the Bubb. crisis alot....they said it was one of the best animes around....i never missed one showing of that show.....but a few years ago, they were packing it in for the summer(as they all do) but never came back.....so i dont know much about new animes....or any animes for that matter!!

Marceline

Eh, I love Cowboy Bebop. Think the ending is phenomenal, personally.

From what I've seen of what you like, you might enjoy that more than Lain.

Well, if you're in the US, you can watch it on Saturdays on Adult Swim.

I'd recommend trying to get it on VHS or DVD though.
