And I want to say what music really annoys me!

It makes otherwise good parts of the game a real put-off!

Yeah, the Chocobo music, especially the one from the Chocobo race in FF VII, and the music of the Gold Saucer ..... :(

the FF9 normal boss music got on my ... well i didnt like it

that ff9 boss music straight up sucked, i hated it, and most of the music in ffx-2, worst soundtrack ever was in ffx-2, too charlies angels for my tastes

Climbing Shinra Tower from FFVII. Man, Nobuo Uematsu must have fallen asleep at his synthesizer one night in '96 with 'record' still set on to come up with something as mind-numblingly boring and repeatative as that.

Either that, or he was taking the concept of elevator music a little too seriously...

That, and Otherworld in FFX.

I've said it before elsewhere and I'll say it again.

Heavy metal and Final Fantasy. Not a good combination. Thank the goddesses that it only appears twice in the game, but that is two times too many IMO..

I think that piece was great, it added something new to the game, the only other piece like it is the boss theme in FFVII. But this time its proper heavy metal, it was unexpected, it helped show true excitement in the Blitzball game at the beggining, and helped put more excitement in the boss fight at the end, it was fun. I don't think you'd have got a more exciting, kick arse feeling out of something done orchestrally.

Anyway the piece of music that annoyed me the most is probably the world map theme in FFVII, that droning over and over, just got on my nerves.

Why does everyone hate the boss theme in FF9? I love it, it screams CHALLENGE in a russian accent for me. Very fun, it may not send a chill down your spine but it still pumps you up.

The most annoying music music in the series comes from FF VII and X.

VII's music is just really bad, there are just a 5 or 6 tracks I like, the rest are annyoing.

X's music is all very good but it's get repetitive and boring.

FFV's Battle Theme....Worst. Battle Theme. Ever.

That and most of the FFVII town themes.

I hate the X-2 Battle music.

Most of the music from X! grates my nerves by now as well, because I've heard it so much.

That really isn't very much of it that I dislike, but the prison music is at the top.

Sand Oreo's theme from FFXI.

That is the absolutley most terrible song ever.

Fitting that it's in the absolute worst race's city. ~ ^

I just call it Sandy myself.

My favorite town music is Selbina's...

When I first heard Mhaura's it was really depressing.

I don't hate it by any means... but after listening to the Sarutabaruta theme again and again for hours and hours leveling whatever job you have at level 1-10 starts getting to you.... @_@

Granted it's a good song... but now whenever I hear it, I go freakin nuts ;_;

I hated Theme of Thantalus from Final Fantasy IX. And also I wasn't fond of Devils Lab from Final Fantasy VI.

Haha, that's why I always keep my tv on mute when I'm playing it now, unless I'm in a party and I need to hear calls.

I liked most of the music in ff7 but i agree that the chocobo music was very annoying and the when you were flying in the highwind was ok at first then it just got stupid.

I hate the Chocobo music at the Gold Saucer, especially when you are trying to get a gold chocobo!! And the music i hate the most is the World Map Music of FF Crystal Chronicles!

i hate all x-2 but i love real emotion and 100 words but there songs not music but still....

Though I havn't played all of the FF series, the Gold Saucer music grinds a nerve. It's one of those stupid catchy songs, and I hate it.

It's even worse when coupled with the sounds of the fireworks.

now i know what music i hate most the zanarkand music from ff X-2

there's quite a few songs that i hate but i would have to go on aol and listen to the radio to find all of the names because some of them just annoy me to no end. i'll post again once i find out the ones that annoy me the most.

....I can whistle 99% of those annoying tunes, yet none of the good ones.

I can't whistle any of them, but I can certainly hum plenty of the good ones.

Definately chocobo music, especially at ff7 chocobo races. Much too cheesey.
