What is your favourite part of FFX?

Ah man thats a hard one. Ummm *scratches head in deep thought". My favorite parts of the game were Tidus finds out the truth about Yunas journey at the Al Bhed Home, the makeout scene between Tidus and Yuna in the pond *giggles*, but I would have to say that my most absolute favorite part of the game was the ending. It was soo sad, : ( I cryed like a baby (and thats the first time Ive ever cryed in a video game.). It was really good though. Tidus is so cute. : )

Yeah that scene at the Al Bhed home was dramatic. I still believe that Shuyin own'd Tidus.

My fav part was the part in the ending where Tidus trys to hug Yuna even though he cant. Did anyone notice this is like the first ff(that ive played) where they actually say "I luv you"

I loved it when Tidus was clueless at Home... My older brother(who was the co-player) laughed at me because I told him I wanted to cry when I found out Yuna was going to die. I really like the wedding tho when she says, "Don't worry, I can fly. Didn't Tidus look like he was about to cry? And I thought he was going to go balistic when Yuna kissed Seymour. Blech!

My ABSOLUTE favorite is the Spring... as you can tell by the Avatar...

Tidus is very sweet...

At the end of FFX was the first time I ever cried over any video game... I don't even cry over sad movies... well 'cept the Matrix when I thought Neo was dead...

At the end of FFX, I was like, "No! He can't leave!"
My brother said, "Who cares?"
I punched his arm and said, "You insensitive JERK! He can't LEAVE! That's just not fair!"
He laughed at me then and asked, "Why? They're not real..."
"Yuna lived only because he wouldn't let her die... I don't care if they're not real! My heart is aching, damn it!"
He laughed and gave me the contoller. "whatever... Tell me what happens after the creds..." and he left... I did tell him tho that Tidus swims at the screen in the end, telling me that he may return, so I was at least a little happy.

To this day I still think Rick, my brother, is an insensitive jerk... but I know what happens in X-2 so, I'm okay about it now!

I love the part where everyone rescues Yuna at the wedding, and the scene at the spring is a classic.

No one's mentioned it yet, but I also really love the part where Auron teases Yuna about her hair, and Tidus' monologue after that.

eventhough im a guy the spring scene is classic and the sceen when they rescue yuna is so cool but my fav has to be the sceen when they r with seymore and he shows them that sphere thing that shows them old zandarkand, that part was so tight. but then he is like will u marry me to yuna and im almost threw my shoe at the screen when she said yes i was like wtf is wrong with u yuna!!!!!!

There were so many awesome parts to this game that I can't list them all unless I really thought about it. So, I am going to go with the scene of Tidus and Yuna in Macalania Lake. There is so much raw emotion displayed during that FMV, that it nearly brought me to tears. That part showed me just how truly perfect Tidus and Yuna are for each other.

I just thought of another good scene that I loved... The one in Luca... I think it was Luca... That whole whistling thing... I thought that was really sweet...

I can't choose a favorite :(. So here they are in no particular order (I think).

Like many of you, it is hard to choose. But my favorites are:

- The beginning of the game when Sin attacks! That was amazing.

- When Seymour takes the gang on the "holo-deck" tour of Zanarkand's Prime (you can tell by my sig)

- Obviously, the spring in the Macalania Woods.

- And, when Sin opens up. It blasts that crater in Spira, and cuts that hole all the way through it. That Rocked.

I will have to admit, though, I did get a little choked up at the end. I was really sad to see the game end. I really enjoyed it.

Newbie here ( dont shoot me lol ) Hmm.. my favorite parts would be when Tidus kissed Yuna (of course) and in the beginning sequence with the rock music when Sin attacks Zanarkand.. and you see auron standing there as if nothing. I love that entire sequence. Also when everyone reaches Bevelle and are like sliding down the ropes to save Yuna...

The water dance. It gives me goosebumps.
I also really enjoy the part where Lulu is telling Waka off for bringing Tidus around. She looks soooooo real.

My favorite bit is when all the blitz teams are introduced after getting off the boat in Luca.

The way the commentator talks about the Aurochs is brilliant.
''They're a living, breathing statistical impossibility...I've never seen a team this bad...''

when you first come to luca, they had that ff9 song playing alittle (or is it just me).

well my favorite part of the game was when Tidus and co. infiltrated Bevelle during Yuna and Seymore's wedding. The battle music was so adrenaline rushing. As well as when Yuna said "believe" and fell of the balcony and summoned Valefor, that was definitly a high point in the game.

I like the ending

For a change the main character (Tidus) dies for a change.

It was a little sad though but I was satisfied with the turn of events.

Oh yes, he dies... *being sarcastic*

he does if you play x-2 he comes back in the farplane *sigh*

Wait, are you saying you cant hold on to your breath for 1 minute and a half? thats how long it took lol, if you wanna comlplain about breath time...when they play blitzball they stay underwater for longer, a LOT longer....they have to do physical effort and also stay underwater for 5 minutes! :D now THAT is kinda difficult! but thats what they do right and its final FANTASY so its not like we should be saying omg tidus cant hold his breath that long! id doubt a lot more the enemies they fight lol :)

Yuna can't hold her breath that long (she can only do it in 2 min and 42 sec:D), and remember, Macalania Woods is pretty magical, and they commented in the game that the water of the spring was not original water. It was more material, so I guess they could breath in those parts of the lake.

Well, when you're kissing and doing all that stuff, it's kinda hard to hold your breath, and some people can't hold their breath for 1 min (not me, but for others I know it's true).

i think that they all have gills because in the scene in Bevelle with Evrae Altana, that took a while to get through.

my fave scene would have to be Bevelle period, i loved Yuna's wedding dress.

Are you serious about that? No, cuz in "Another Story" Yuna had been practicing holding her breath. She held it for 2 min and 42 sec. And it was mentioned in the game that Macalania's water was not ordinary water, so they could probably breath just fine in it. :D

okay maybe some of them have gills...... like the Blitzball Players...... but you never really know for sure, but it was kinda a good theory

I guess it could be a good theory. But if they did I'm sure they would have focussed more on that. In the game (FFX-2) Yuna mentioned that blitzball players spend a lot of time practicing to hold their breaths for long periods of time. But that's true, you never know. :D

I also loved all of the Jecht Sphere scenes....... they made so sad, and it was funny because in all of them Jecht somehow does something, funny, stupid or both. Or extremly cute.

I liked it also when Wakka found out everything he bekieved in was a lie. and when he fights Seymore and Yunalesca. He's reaction is so funny, poor guy I'm suprised he didn't have a breakdown or something

Well, the Blitzball players can hold their breath for a long time. They tell you about it in the game. One of Wakka's team members explains it once. ;)

Yuna, hmmm, maybe she is practicing.... I mean, isn't she playing Blitzball in FF-X-2 too? :)

yeah that was great.... his reaction to finding out the the Al-Bhed were behind the summoners disappearances.... he was all calm and he goes "You kidnapped them."
But it all about how Auron never stands up for anyone... I mean if you annoy him enough he'll cave... like in the scene when Rikku keeps begging them to stop at the travel agency.... he caved because he didnt want to have to hear Rikku complain more.

My favourite part of the game would be just before the Yunalesca fight when everyone finds themselves preparing for a confrontation that they never would've thought would happen. Auron's word echoing around them as they leap into action, united to challenge the fate that they thought would never be able to change.

The ending is also great. So sad.

I actually thought that part sucked. but i liked the line.

This isn't really one of my fav scenes butt..

I like it when sin destroyes Kilika near the start. You get to see the sheer power and strength of sin. Also it was good when seymore makes everyone fights against sin at the highroad (or weatever) sin totally wasts them all it's so cool

When the Yuna and Tidus kissing part came up, I turned down the volume. The music is so annoying!!!! My favorite part, though, was when Seymour summoned Anima at the Blitzball game. That was really, really cool!!

although it's hard to choose(so many of you have mention parts that i love, since i loved every part of the game), i'd have to say my favorite is the moments just after you strike down seymour for the first time. the group stands on trial before maestor kinoc(i think, it's been a while) and the secrets of the church start to unravel; you realize the leaders are unsent and yuna is seriously questioning her life choices. i think this part is amazing and relevant because there is a moment in everyone's life where they shed their naivete to accept reality...brutal...

Well, she was practicing. If you get the Japanese version of FFX-2 it gives you the scene of "Another Story", and in it, she is practicing. She says so. ^_^

I actually thought that scene was boring ^_^, but, I do get what you mean. When you first see it, it is nice to hear more about Spira and so on, but it wasn't dramatic enough. In the FMV's in X and X-2, you just didn't feel enough emotion like in the other games. I think that part should have been made as an FMV, and not a cut-scene, and then it would have been better, not just visually, but emotionally. I don't know why I just brought that up ^_^. Oh, well. Does anyone agree with me?

Oh, they should be able to hold their breaths longer than five minutes, since Tidus would fight underwater, and usually it would be longer than five minutes (remember, the beginning of the game at the ruins with Rikku).

Lots of parts I really liked so I'll list a few.

-When they slide down the cables to crash the wedding in Bevelle.

-The Spring

-The campfire scene just before entering Zanarkand.

-When they arrive at Luca and Tidus is looking at the city from the ship.

-Opening and Ending

-When Tidus is playing Blitz with the Aurochs just after arriving at Besaid.

-When they fill up the stadium at Lucca to start the Blitzball tournament.

well here is why i disagree:
the judgement scene is incredibly tense; the music fits an extreme plot twist like that perfectly. yuna discovers that everything she built her life around was a lie. she held the church in such high regard, only to find out that almost every maestor is corrupt in some form or another. this feeling of distrust is so disheartening. yuna, the group and the player feel at this point that no one can be trusted; who else could possibly be part of this conspiracy? i love how this part of the game brings a different element into play. the series is amazing for it's plot twists and this is one of the great ones. and as for it being an FMV, i don't think that would have made a difference. for me, story comes before graphics, even though i do love the amazing graphics in this game.

and then seymour goes.
