What is your favourite part of FFVIII?

My absolute favorite part of the entire game is with Squall and Rinoa in space, when she climbs into his lap, and Eyes on Me is playing.

Everything about that scene is so perfect. I bawled and bawled.

i loved it too. that's probably the part where squall changed the most. i just love to see the changes in the main characters with the broken souls lol. but, the ending is awesome too. one of the happiest endings in the ff series. i almost cried with happiness. very emotional, i know...sorry

i'd have to say in trabia garden when **SPOILERS**they remember that matron is edea and that they were in the same orphanage that scene was cool.

My Favourite part of the game is when the two gardens confront, it is so awesome!!! all that action, all those fights, and Squall Saving Rinoa from falling and then they go into a HUGE batte, man that was INTENSE! and plus with the Sountrack from Nobuo Uematsu, its just fantastic

Opening fight scene is awesome, you'd think they'd have more fighting scenes.

I totaly agree with nightmarekitty...

I havn't encountered a game with a better lovestory yet, and especially those 2 scene's are great!!!!

The best thing about the ending are the last five seconds when you see that squall survived..

i really thought he died...

Mine is the whole Galbadia Garden Vs. Balamb Garden fight at the end of Disc 2.

And also the Deling City Parade and "assasination" at the end of Disc 1.

The FMV rules.

I still believe that FFVIII is the best looking game on the original Playstation.

I say that my favourite would have to be when Squall and co. go for their SeeD exam at Dollet. That was cool.

Funny, I'm not as sesative. My favorite part of all is when the two gardens are fighting, And squall goes and talks on the communicator, and encourages everybody in the garden, And the song "the oath" comes on. Great stuff. I actually made a seperate save slot so i could see that whenever i wanted too. I'm such a dork ;)

in disk 3 when Squall went to save Rinoa, and they went in the Ragnarok, and eyes on me played. That was so beautiful! ^^ And when everyone was in Trabia and they remember that matron is edea and that they were in the same orphanage. Also, in disk 1 when they have to assasinate the sorceress.

I agree with you there.

I was stunned when I first saw the opening movie, and it still looks incredible 5 years later.

I would say the Ending when Eyes on Me is playing with Lyrics.. actually the whole 13 minute ending was amazing.

yeah, they were my favourite parts too.

THE LANDING!!!!! with the huge (ok not that big) battle/SeeD exam at the city, plus when Galbadia Garden and Balamb Garden fight each other at the end of Disc 2.
Wicked events

I liked the ragnorok scene after the rescue, and also the ending.

My Favourite part was the WHOLE space adventure!

from when u get into the rocket,intill u have to go to Esthar
