Cloud refuses to go up the ladder to the top of the ledge. I know whereabouts the harp is but how am I supposed to get there?

So you placed all the workers, detonated the charge, and can't climb up to get to the place it's buried? If that's what happened, it's too wierd for me to figure out. If not, describe your problem in a bit more detail.

That's exactly what the problem is Prak.

I can climb normal "usually".

However, I cannot climb when I am in the process of placing the workers and also when I have to specify where to dig. This problem is unreal and completely annoying.

Heck, I'd appreciate it if someone will do it for me. I send my saved file by e-mail to someone, that kind someone can get the lunar harp, save it and send the file back to me!

That definitely sounds irritating, but I'm not very helpful when it comes to stuff like that. Sorry.

Pacific I had the exact same thing happen to me. I don't remember exactly but I think you have to just keep trying to go up in different places because it's very sensitive to where you climb up.

LOL, I had the same problem when I first played FF7. I think you just have to place Cloud properly in front of the ladder.... LOL, doesn't sound very helpful. Say, you're playing in PC? I still prefer consoles, LOL.

I too endorse the suggestions here that it would be a good idea to try moving around Cloud's position some and then try it.

I'd play through the savefile for you because I have the PC version and can get it to work just fine. However, I've been missing the first disc for a long time.


One thing I could do is that I have a pretty extensive save backup for FFVII on the PC. If you absolutely can't get it to work, I think I can probably give you an existing savefile of mine that would be right after that, or at least pretty close to it. If you PM me with your stats, I can even use a savefile editor that's always worked like a charm for me to edit the file to match the statistics you have on your file.

Thanks for all the help, that @%#^ finally managed to go up the ladder. Annoying bug, even worse than Mako Reactor 1!

Im on that part now and I am seriously stuck so at the moment Im just searching in random places but Im getting some help off a friend. Just go to the man then go up the ladder then press square and place your men. The set off the bomb...and then search thats what I did. Hope that helps by the way I still havn't found it either yet...But Im still trying!

THAT WAS THEN THIS IS NOW!I have got the Lunar harp what you hould do
(this is what i did) Get three men and put them in a triangle then draw a straight line from where they are looking from(thats what I did still kept the mark on my T.V where I found it!..Im so proud!) and then where the lines cross is where it is!!!

That ladder in the first mako reactor was a pain..But mabe because I didn't position him right. ^_^

Aww don't say nasty things about cloud Im sure he doesn't mean it :(

well i also had difficulty at first but my solution was better, just go near to the ladder nd press 'O' and triangle' cloud shud climb the ladder on the first try itself. so dont curse the spiky head :) he's kool

I never have the problem from climbing ladders.

Erm, if cloud refuses to get up then your gamesave is muffed.
But clouds a crap person anyway so, cant really blame him :P
