OK, i think it is common knowledge that ultimicia was farily hard, but it is also common knowledge that there are many methods of defeating her and her GF.
Some people use aura all the way throughm others use magic.
So what are your methods?/What are the best methods?

use doom train and having a very high eva will be very helpfuul having squall lion heart weapon and a lot of auras stones then you just put a aura to squall and the limit lionheart should kill or if you want to have a lot of ultimas,you could use domm train two times on him and it'll put him into slow then draw eden then draw ultimas and meteores and then use selphie's limit "the end"

I think your referring to Ultima Weapon, when the question from SephirothBizzaro is about your methods to defeat Sorceress Ultimecia.

I first cast triple on everyone. Then i cast haste on everyone. then aura on everyone (while healing if needed). I keep using limit breaks and ultimecia shouldnt be hard at all. i also use Meltdown magic cuz it causes Vit 0 to ultimecia making my attacks stronger and hit almost 9999 everytime.

First of all, kill off your characters until you've got YOUR strongest party in the game. (I don't care if time absorbs them or not, I can't fight with wimps.)

Second, Cerberus. Double and Triple on all of your characters. Very helpful. Third, a little bit of Aura shared around. Then watch Squall devastate with Lionheart. If possible, Rinoa will use a special move with Angelo (Invincible Moon?) Which'll grant your party immune status. :)

Well unlike about 60% of VIII players I didnt have Rinoa in my party while facing Ultimicia(Well she appeared but I killed her off):p My strongest team was Squall, Selphie, and Zell becuae of Ultimicias suckiness I just aured selphie and waited for The End to appear. Next for griever Renzokukened his butt! Then for the last two it was all Duel, Renzokuken, and Ultima. I also used wall at the beginning of both battles I just luv using Selphies limit!

Gotta be Squall, Zell and Irvine for me.
I casted triple by summoning cerberus, then cast aura on all. Use the limit breaks all the way through and it shouldn't be too hard. Irvines shot limit in particular is fairly useful, but the lionheart kills the last version of ultimecia in one go.
But if you refine bahamuts card, you get 99 magalixirs which is very useful for the last ultimecias.

yup evine and zell are the strongest or you could just kill her with squall and let the others die about the second figth or third because you will not need noboddy at all only squall could kill the four of them i trayed it one time and anly squall kill them XD it's easy XD tray it XD

Definitively. But I think Ultimecia was too easy,though. I didn't even had that much fun fighting her...I always had Squall,Irvine and Selphie. I'd cast Aura's on Squall and Irvine,and use Megalixir's ever time that wicked witch would use that attact that gets everyone's HP's at one. With Irvine,I'd perform Shot,as for Squall,usual Renzokuken. Also,when the guys didn't need to be healed nor to be cast a Aura on,I'd just mess with Selphie's slot. I swear Ultimecia got down like that:BOOM!;)

The best team for me was Squall Irvine and Zell i maxed zells lvl and squall and had irvine at lvl 72 i used zells limit break alls i did was use his basic attacks it goes on practically forever 1 phsical attack from squall and zells limit killed off 1st stage griever is easy untill shockwave pulsar then i used some healing.for the final stage 2 lionhearts kiled her off all you have to do is max out your chars which all the extra stages did for me.

Nice one. ^^ But I could never beat a game without my whole team at the max level. Kind of an habit.XD

even though i get max stats b4 i get to the max lvl :)

the final boss was ezy! all i did was max my lvs at that island closest to hell, were the training is a sinch. fully equid my 3 prefered ppl with magic (making sure each magic waz at 100) and gfs, hav the best wepions and all. and some card can be converted into 100 megalixas then i went to fright.
ps: dont worry about the megalixas running out, i only used about 30 of them

i used the aura methord a killed her first three forms with lionheart, pulse ammo and shockwavepulsar

I had all my characters around level 87-98, and I made sure I had Lagunas card from Ellone. Then with card mod I changed it to make 100 heros. For the action abilites i made sure everyone had item, magic, and GF.

I used Squall, Zell, and Rinoa. I killed off all my weak characters then casted haste, triple and aura. After that I used a hero on each of my characters (this kinda takes time, but I didnt have a gilgamesh card to make 10 holy wars..) Then I summoned doom train (without any damage from ultimecia because I was invincible). After that I summoned eden. I made sure everyone used their limit breaks until the hero ran out ( at which point aura runs out first but i summoned my GF's and casted lots of flare, holy, and ultima. Also, I made sure to be invincible when Griever casts shockwave pulsar.. and when the final form of Ultimecia casts Hells gate (or however its called)

The fight was very easy, and I was surprised by that.

My first time through, I used Selphie and Aura-ed and The Ended my way through the battle, and during the last form, I had my other two characters attack, and Selphie use Full-Cure.

Also on my file, I have juntioned all 6 characters just about equally so I can win with any of the random 3 she pics.

Other than that, I just Cerebus, Aura, and limit breaks.

wow! I never found the patience to power up my other three characters. It must have taken you a long time...
