I thought it was okay, because you were able to control which way you wanted to go. What do you guys think?

I thought the sphere grid was a work of genius, totally unlike anything I'd seen before or since in a Final Fantasy game. Being able to have a single character learn every ability in the game made it really special. The only other game with that level of customization was FFVIII.

I actually loved the Sphere Grid. It gave the game more strategy, instead of the usual:

Gaining experience points, and having all your stats raise when you level up.

But, with the Sphere Grid, a lot more strategy was put into place. Yes, for the first part of the game, all your characters are required to follow a specific path. But, as you started earning Key Spheres, you gain the power to send your characters on different paths. When this happens, you now have taken control of how strong or weak your characters are going to be, and I really enjoyed that. With FFX, gone are the days in which if your characters are at the same level, they are pretty much exactly the same in every statistical category. But, with the Sphere Grid, you have complete control over who you want to make strongest, and who you don't really care about.

And that, is what I love.

I like the sphere grid. It is interesting to see, where you can go at next. :)

And you can control it, in what direction your characters shall go at next. ;)

Yeah, Id like something like that again. :D
