Will they make these games like.... forever??

Will we ever play Final Fantasy XXX on the Playstation 7 or something?

I remember that after 7 my brother and myself where thinking yeahh FF8 maybe it is fun, and now we�re here with FF7 through 10 and I guess 12 will be in our hands when its gonna hit the shelves..... Probably be buying these till the end of time...

So your opinions people!!! Do you think that there will be a Final Fantasy XXX in the future and will you buy it still??!!!

I see Square-Enix making Final Fantasy until it is no longer a hit. And it would have to take several releases in the series to start turning people off from it. If you have three or four bad Final Fantasies in a row, people will begin to question whether or not the series has had its run, and if it is just time to hang it up.

Well, I hope that Sony doesn't release their seventh system (if it gets that far) as PS7. Ever heard of a new title, instead of just PS2, PS3, etc?

As long as Final Fantasy continues to have success in the future, we will not see FFXXX for at least 30 years. And, of course I will still buy it, bearing in mind that I am still somewhat satisfied with the series.

I think it was confirmed not that long ago that there would only be 15 Final Fantasy titles, and then Square-Enix would be working on different projects.

I hope it does, or else its gonna end up like a big drawn out bag of shite, and you'll be bored with the same thing over and over again, not to mention the fact your getting older (unless your like my friend Gareth who is getting younger, bastard.) I think they'll quit the series once they feel the fans have had a good smash with the series and are pleased with themselves. Infact we know theres been a decline in the quality of Final Fantasy as of late, for example; Final Fantasy X-2 (MogKnight, don't start.)

So once it gets to number XV, I think they'll just round it all off nicely and move onto other projects.

Yeah but considering Hironobu Sakaguchi managed to get to like 11 before he stood down and let another person come in, it kind of shows you how many games there may be with the new Producer and so on and so forth

Actually, Hironobu Sakaguchi had very little to do with any FF game after FFVI.

Well who cares. Either way what i was trying to say is ech new person should have new ideas for FF making FF more addictive. Even if they just got back to fully remaking all the FF's i'll still be happy.

Well for me and probably not for people that allready finished the games, cause I never played FF 1 through 6 so......

Well, ive complete all FF's and i still play them over and over agian, they pretty much all have good replay value, FF1 in particular there is just sooo many challenges that you can set youself for that game.

Provided that square can keep innovating and coming up with good storyline I don't see why it can't continue for a long time. I have played from FF7 upto X-2 and have really enjoyed them all. There have been some bits in the games that i haven't liked but the rest of it always compensates.

Some people say the quolity of game is getting declined, especially when talking about FF10-2.
Since I haven't played FF10-2, I've no idea about it but you know till FF10-2 was released they kept the quality of the games as RPG. Ofcourse, the storyline and the gameplay is getting almost same in any but still they are good, if you think of them as individuals.
I hope FF12 will be cool too and I think it'll be something really different from others, that's what I thought by reading info for it.

I thought it was just they had copyrighted the names up to FFXV, and then were going to see what happens?

Yes, FFXIII, FFXIV, and FFXV are all copyright names. But, I don't think that necessarily signals anything about a possible end to the series.

I hope they keep creating the ff games, and recreating ffI-6 as I never got to play them either.

Alhough I was dissapointed with ffX-2 I will still get FFXII!

I dont think they will kep creating them forever, btu maybe for the next ten years or so!

FF 1&2, as well as FF4-6 were all re-released for the playstation in the US.

I know they rereleased them a bit differently in the UK, but I think they still got all the same titles.

Depending on where you are, you should be able to play all of them.

I hope they will remake all of them on PS2 or something so we can play them in cool graphics and the like!!

All remakes have also been released in Europe, so being Dutch is no excuse. :P

2.thay will be FF till ppl give up on it
3.Square-Enix made so much money on FF I dont think there end it on FFXV and less thay sell poorly

Isn't this really strange. They all decided that with the original FF was going to be the last game they were going to make and now they've made countless games of Final Fantasy.

My opinion - They won't stop making FF until they get abysmal profits.

As of late the creators seem to be juggling around new ideas for final fantasies, they could be doing this to find the perfect blueprints for no. 15, but it wouldnt make sense to apply this to just one game. theres too much money that could be made. besides, i think there are already fifteen final fantasies that have been (or are currently being) created. 1-12, 10-2, tactics, crystal chronicals, and i believe that there are 2 final fantasies that came out for the original gameboy back during the beginning of the ff era. If you want to you could include tactics advance, but we've already met the quota.

I agree with most of you in saying that ff will probably never end as long as it still has fan attention and money coming in.

It's true they only registered up to ff15 in domain names but I think they only did that to make ppl like us lose their minds to find out why or is it really the end.

I personally believe ff 12 will be really good but I believe the best is yet to come. Who really knows for sure though.

Even if they do end it with 15 they'd probably leave more room for others. And if they do that and sell the rights to ff many more will come. However no ff that is not square will ever be as good ever

Heh I always thought about the FINAL FANTASY franchise never ending. It's a misnomer that seems to work. Then again, with the exception of X & X-2, each one is their own individual game with it's own ending.

SE is working on another RPG. It's called The Last Remnants. Haha let's see how many roman numerals they can add at the end of that title.

Hehe I want to see how many Last Remnants we will get.

Curious, if FF were to end, would they beef up Seiken Densetsu? Crono series? If they were to try a new line of RPGs after Final Fantasy ends (assuming that by FFXV they aren't making too much money off of the series), what would they make?

I'd like to see a sequel to ChronoChross (or even a remake in the same universe as they did in that game vs ChronoTrigger.) That game was highly underrated I think.

They were going to remake ChronoTrigger but the cancled the project. There are some screenshots online

Final Fantasy keeps going because it is the only thing that saves things for them ever sicne Square teamed up with einx final fantasy may keep it alive it saved Square a long time ago anyway sadly i dont think there will be a ps7 ... i dont think there is even going to be a ps4 .... i think the ps3 is it ........ sony made some realy bad choices lately for ther systems ... maybe the final fantasy series can save the psp if not i hope nintedo gets the triple triad game and the final fantasy fighter game .... incase the psp dies .. well even worse ...

I wouldn't mind, If Final Fantasy when on forever, and yes I would buy FFXXX...

Like what everyone else says about the Final Fantasy series, it shouldn't end if it continues to thrive, but I'm still thinking there's a chance it might continue even if popularity dwindles, then again I'm thinking about that monstrous Philips-I Zelda game. D:
