Here's how the story goes(anyone who has not finished the game I advise you not to read on(it is a spoiler))you go into the Northen Cave kick Jenova's ass then fight Bizzaro Sephiroth.Kick his ass, then the best, most exciting and strongest(not in health but in his attacks and stuff)boss in the final fantasy seris,Safer-Sephiroth or The One Winged Angel.Bet him then you fight the final boss Sephiroth(but he's not realy a boss with 0HP and you get Omnislash but I think you would already have it).When you bet him he has blood on his face and is shocked.Reamember your in the lifestream,Sephiroth actually fades off into the lifestream!!!
He proberly goes and thinks how to bet Cloud once and for all!!!
and there you have it,he doesn't die.

But if you recall...the REAL Sephiroth died, cuz the Sephiroth you faced was but a mere clone, and Cloud destroyed the clone at the last fight.

Yeah not to mention I punched him hard in the face last night and he started to bleed and he pulled his sword out... so I had to pull my sword out and kill him... honest! Even the One Winged Angel theme was playing for some odd reason and here we are, two guys, fighting each other with swords for no reason. After that, I went home and thought about the memories I had with that fight.... and that good drink I had.

No I think that was when Cloud went up to me and said Tifa had a bigger rack than you and then I said "I don't care about breast sizes" and then somehow I ended up playing Donkey Kong with Cloud and I lost because I couldn't jump over a barrel...

Thats why i said that i must've fallen asleep during the time in which Cloud Revived Sephiroth With Black Materia, why is the sweet mother of abraham lincln would he do that. As far as i remember, which is very far, cloud has a fit, and GIVES sephiroth the black materia, but it doesn't revive him as he is already alive.

It is an interruption of the mind. Preferably a memory that suddenly occurs hence the word 'flashback'.

Meaning if you're refering to the past it happened earlier than the present. Therefore the Sephiroth you see is someone's memory and it is fact that he died a long time ago.

I say it's the real Sephiroth even if it seem dosen't like it.

When the weapons are awoken, cloud places the black materia into the sephiroth clones glass cage thing. But after the final battle you kill him.
