Hello, I have decided that we need to have a rumble involving the best of the best. In this rumble, only the participants who advanced to a certain round will appear on my list.

But right now, I am asking for suggestions:

I am going to, of course, do the popular categories, such as...

Character, Music, Summons, Weapons, etc.

But here is where I would like some input:

We have the FF IV and VI Rumble (most recent rumble)
FFVII Rumble (which has been over for two months now)
FFVIII Rumble (Over for almost four months now)
FFIX Rumble( ending about two weeks ago)
FFX Rumble (Still up and going)
FFX-2 Rumble (Still up and going as well)

I would like to have at least four participants from each of these six rumbles. But, seeing as how the Final Fantasy IV and VI rumble isn't finished with the character part yet, (which is obviously going to be the first battle for the CoFFR), should I just leave out IV and VI altogether?

All I'm saying is you can't have a "rumble" of the "Champions of Final Fantasy" without VI and I guess IV making an appearance. It'd be like not including VII, 'cause then all the rabid "aeris is my sex goddess" fans will get mad.

Ok, well I only asked, because the IV and VI rumble is really not that far yet.

But, I am still open to other opinions.

I thought the General Final Fantasy Rumble included every other Rumble, thus making it the Champion one. :o

Why don't you just make a rumble from every final fantasy, because then you will have more options to chose from.

Bahamut ZERO - you really oughta stop by my rumble more often. The General Final Fantasy Rumble actually mainly covers things that haven't been covered in past rumbles in other sections, like best weapons, or best clothing. I didn't want it to be a "champions" rumble, like this is.

Obviously, you'll want to be including some of the more popular stuff. Aeris's Theme was a favorite in the FFVII rumble, as was Cloud. There's a lot of good past material, but I'm not really sure how you plan to organize it all. I look forward to seeing though.

Actually, I don't have the first category finished yet, but I am working on it. I'm not going to tell you how I plan to organize it, because it is a big secret.

But I know that you guys will all like it!

Now, here comes the tricky part:

I have chosen, well, for this instance, the four competitors from each game, that made it the farthest in the <B> character </B> category. Which would be the semi-finalists, in most cases. Here is how the battle will work:

That is the broad overview of the 24 competitors. There will be, almost definately, 24 participants for each category. However, I will only do a category in which all six Final Fantasy games have already covered.

And, for the first category of this rumble, I am choosing characters, seeing as how it is the only one in which all these six games have already done, or are far in enough to pick four "champions" from.

So, all this stuff, is what the final product will <B> probably </B> look like, unless you guys have any complaints or other tidbits you would like to share with me.

If there are no major problems in which you point out about how I have configured this, I will next explain how the actual "choosing of the participants for battle" will go. Having only 24 participants is no biggie: The hard part is actually trying to decide how to randomly pick combatatants. You know, like which two FF games should go up against each other?

That will be the next aspect that I explain to you guys. But first, let me hear what you think about the overview of all this.

How to randomly pick choices? I don't know. I usually just do it at whim. Works for me.

Where is FFIX?

FFVI - People are probably going to grumble if you don't include Terra, although I couldn't care.

FFVII - I don't think that many people care about Rufus. Where's Aeris?

FFVIII - This one seems the most messed up. Griever? Mini-Mog? You gotta be joking. Those who haven't played Chocobo World haven't even seen Mini-Mog. Toss both quick and put in Zell probably and maybe one of the other major characters.

FFX - I can't see any problems with this list.

FFX-2 - I don't know if leaving out Paine is a good choice. There are many who think Paine is the only good character in this game.

I think thats good choices except on FFVII you should have at least one female character. but you should do one that isnt really popular.I get tired of hearing about Aeris sometimes.

Well, I haven't decided how I am going to randomly pick who will battle yet. I mean, I don't know if I will just randomly pick two Final Fantasy games, and then randomly pick one character from each.

But look for the first battle tomorrow!

EDIT: Ah screw it. As soon as I get the first battle ready, I will post it. If no one else posts after this one, then just look in this post for the first battle.

Ok, this is how it works. There are seven FF games which I will choose from, including the extra characters. So, I will make that eight groups. First, I will randomly pick two different groups, and then I will randomly pick one character from each of those respected groups. I won't pick the same group twice, until each group has been selected. After all eight groups have been chosen, which will consist of four battles each time, that will eliminate four characters. Then, I will start the whole process over again, until we reach the point of only 16 characters are left. At this point, I plan to do the choosing a little bit differently.

I love Kuja, but I'm going to vote for Yang as well, for the same reasons that Kubirio did.

Gippal was so much cooler. Tidus got annoying after awhile. I think everyone one of them other than Yuna wanted to punch him so he'd quit he's whining.
