Does anyone have Final Fantasy Tactics (not Tactics Advance)?

It's a pretty...um...MODERATE game, which probably takes place after Final Fantasy 7 since Cloud shows up and then there's also the flower girl that looks like Aeris but really isn't her because, as well we all should know that Aeris died, courtesy of Sephiroth...

Just one thing, why the heck does the game level up so slow and the random battles get annoying?

How, in any sort of way, does tactics suck in the least? It's easily one of the greatest video games ever. I think you're a robot.

You're just sore because you suck at gaming. :(

Another thing that no Final Fantasy game share the same canon from each other (FFX and FFX-2 are exceptions), Final Fantasy 7 Cloud and Final Fantasy Tactics Cloud and Kingdom Hearts Cloud are all different Clouds.

And finally, Tactics is filled with both traditional RPG elements (where every stat and ability matter) and a fulfulling Storyline. However, this is a game for those with patience and knowledge, do not take this game if you want quick gaming, it's a real thinking man's game.

While personally it isn't one of the best games I've ever played, it ranks among the top Turn-Based Strat games that I've played.

How many turn-based strategy games have you played?

I have never played Tactics because I live in England, and Europe don't have it so I don't know what its like...oh woe is me.

I hate FFtactics! I don't like how hard it is! I havn't played it very long, so it could get better but I am doubtful.I wish you could run around and talk to people. It would be good if you could have a few main characters instead of a lot of characters that don't even have interesting personalitys and they all look the same!If you like this game, i am not insulting you, but I have no interest in this game. I just like the regular Final Fantasies much better.

it doesn't matter if you suck or not, all final fantasy games require little skill. They're still my favorite though. I guess I just thought the job system and battle scenarios were amazing. No other final fantasy was as fun to level up in. OH YEAH, the other best part...the ending with Delita and Ovelia. Holy shit! That was awesome! I'm guessing that the people who didn't like tactics were the ones who liked X-2. Fuck that game. It sucked almost as much as IX.

If you have the non-greatest hits version, I'll buy 20 dollars straight up.

Anyways, I played quite a bit of Turn-Based Strat games (Disgaea being the one that interested me the most but I haven't had time to play it) but that's the thing you need to expect in Final Fantasy in general, it didn't start off with storylines and storylines doesn't MAKE the game... even though FFT did have a pretty good story.

I don't want to say that you suck at gaming at all... but I can't say you're the type of person who would play any game. FFT is great in various ways but not everyone can play it, the same with the rest of the Final Fantasy games out there. You recommend you sit with it a little more until you start earning the high level jobs such as Ninja, Samurai, Dancer, Summoner. By then, you'll enjoy the game when you KNOW you can destroy your opponent with well placed moves.

Just a question, if you don't like leveling up, why play rpg games?

I rate tactics in the top 3 final fantasy games of all time and easily the best turn based strategy rpg I've ever played on a console. I loved the large numbers of characters you could control (granted only 5 at a time which isn't very many at all) and the huge amount of customization in this game. None of the traditional spoon feeding of "this character is a fighter, this character is a magic user" anybody could succeed on any growth path you sent them on.

As far as the difficulty is concerned, I loved it. Tactics is the only FF game in a decade that actually gave me a good challenge, and that's the way games should be.

I have to agree with you XP

and for the most part, I HATE FFX-2 FOR YOUR INFORMATION!! CHECK THE FACTS BEFORE YOU MAKE ANY ASSUMPTIONS!

I dunno, the only thing that I heard from you is that you think it's hard (sorta is but every game has their difficulties and every player has their own thresshold of what they can percerve as hard) and that you don't like leveling (which I can understand that you don't like leveling a character period and making that character your own personal character).

I think you should just throw your PSone or PS2 away and read a book. Oh and stop yelling in caps at people, you're not making yourself look smart. :)

These facts that I was suppose to check...where were they? I'll look around a lot for them next time because I care so much about not sounding stupid. I just figured you'd like X-2 because it's quite different.
